Getting Started Internet Marketing For Newbies Steps

Here are a few steps I would recommend for all beginners out there who are interested in starting their own Home Based Business but do not know where to begin:

1. Start a self hosted Wordpress blog based around a niche that you are familiar with somewhat. This will make it more enjoyable for you, and you can add fresh unique content which the search engines eat up.

2. Monetize your blog in one of these ways or all of the above.

A. Affiliate marketing - Sign up for a free affiliate account and promote a couple of hot products on your blog to get your feet wet. 1. Clickbank 2. Linkshare 3. Pepperjam Network 4. Amazon 5. Rapbank 6. Commission Junction These are a few of the more popular ones pick your favorites:

B. Sell your own product even better you keep 100% of the commissions if that is possible in your situation.

C. Google Adwords - You can monetize your blog with Adsense ads by signing up for a free account. Every time a unique visitor clicks on one of your Google ads you will get paid. Get a lot of clicks make a lot of money.
This is not as easy as it sounds it takes traffic to make money the more traffic your blog has 9 times out of 10 the more money you will make.

3. Add unique content to your blog at least 3 times a week if you can do more even better. Optimize your content for the search engines, but make it readable to your visitors. Remember real people are gonna be visiting your blog.

4. Build backlinks to your blog for SEO purposes. Blog commenting on do-follow blogs is a good way. Video marketing, and article marketing is even better. Remember: If you have a useful article other webmasters will link to it, and publish your videos, or articles on their websites, or blogs building up your backlinks, traffic, and Google page rank.

5. Once you start building up a little traffic to your blog start an Email list A.S.A.P. The sooner the better I recommend Aweber they are the Cadillac of Autoresponders. The money is in the list ask any top Internet marketer. I do not think anyone would argue that.

This little tutorial should give you a good foundation to build on. Now you have no excuses get to work building your online business!

        Usually you have an opt-in form on a page, where your visitors are asked to input their emails and names in order to sign up. Now, why sign up? Again, usually there is an incentive like an e-book, a free video tutorial or something like that, available only to those who subscribe to your site.

    One thing to mention about blogging and affiliate
    marketing or "blogging for profits" that it is not an
    overnight money making strategy.

    It's a long process where you'll have to invest
    lots of time and effort into building and maintaining
    a profitable asset.

    If you're on a budget, than go ahead and do it all
    yourself. But if you have money to invest into this,
    become a member of wordpress direct.

    This will take care of the most time consuming part-content.

      I was just about to say something like this. I wouldn't say that this is a newbie guide as you cant expect someone to jump right on and know how things like CB or what CPA even is.

      Also would the OP mind voicing his opinions on my thread regarding product selling? http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...uct-forum.html

      Just saying because you say that people should tell their own products and keep 100% of the commissions. But wouldn't those people just saturate the market? If your a newbi I could hardly expect you to write out a detailed ebook or even have the captial to hire a ghostwriter.

        These are some steps I implement of course you are gonna be learning along the way. Hell I am still learning and the top multi-million dollar guru's are still learning.

        I mean if you sell your own products you would not have to pay the middleman the affiliates. Most people do not have their own products anyways but for the few that do it applies to them.

        And not every newbie is broke lol that is just silly people are just trying to better their lives by making some extra residual income, or side cash. Or they hate their jobs and want to better their situation mentally, and financially.

        Or maybe if they are real motivated like myself, and a lot of other Warriors on here to turn it into a full time income one day. Yeah I agree it is not easy but it is very possible depending on a number of factors. Your work ethic, motivation, willingness to learn etc...

        Most newbies do not know what simple steps to take to get an online business up and running. These were a few easy steps to follow that they can implement to get started! When I first started out 4 plus years ago I did not know my --- from a hole in the ground. And no-one taught me anything I learned from countless long nights Googling what I did not know and educating myself on every aspect of Affiliate - Internet marketing

        Nothing in life comes without hard work, but if your motivated, have a simple plan, have the right system in place the skies the limit.

        Again this is a simple plan for newbies to follow obviously their is a lot of learning involved too. But at least they have the main steps to follow to get up and running!

          Of course in no way am i saying your post wasn't helpful. In fact it was the opposite. And thanks for the new sig. What I meant was the mindset today about instant gratification has become an epidemic and to see people follow through with your excellent but simple guide is a sure sign of a future head honcho

          Really spoke to me, I remember when I first started and was confused at all the slang and terms but just got motivated to keep pushing on with what I knew how to do.

    You can get free E-Books to give away at a lot of different places you just need to look. You do not have to create your own I hope that helps...

    It is better if you do but if you cannot search the web that is your freebies. A lot of diamonds in the rough out there.
