Suggest you go to the "for hire" section in this forum - and contact one of those people advertising their writing services. That's a better option for what you want.

Depending on how 'lower end' you mean, I'm not sure how helpful that cash would be... if you only need 1000 word in 4 hours, why not just write them yourself? It'd be less stressful, if nothing else.

I mean, I told him midnight his time, thinking I could have everything else done by then.

I don't guess it would matter that much, I just haven't really ever been late on any articles, and would rather get help than be late.

Oopps, that's the main problem.

Do not commit things, if you're unsure.
especially to a client. Be honest of your lead time. if you can't finish it within 24 hours or, just say it so.

Yeah, I will make sure not to in the future. I don't like the feeling of thinking I will be late with something.

  Even if they are outsourcing the work themselves at the last minute to anyone willing to do it cheap? I'd rather wait a few hours and have the work done by the person I hired to do it.

  I think you missed the point entirely. This isn't a section to post jobs in - there is a for hire section with a lot of writers and some write for very low cost.
  
  You posted late on Sunday night - for a rush - and wanted low cost. It is the combination of the three that made people tease you. Post count is irrelevant as you had no post count until this thread.

  I don't see why. Most of the people who get hired to write articles are mediocre writers. If they outsource, you probably won't even notice, and they're every bit as likely to find a better writer as they are to find a worse one.
