Anyone know?

...I'm about to buy Article Post Robot, but I'm probably not if you have to sign up for all 450-something article directories.

      Well.....

Overall it took me about 2 1/2 days to signup for all of them. (in the evenings). The software did provide a little help in the fact the I could double click the site name and it took me directly there for the sign up.

When it is all said and done...it is pretty nice to write one article, fill in the resource boxes and hit click and then watch it do its thing. Minimize the program and go on about doing your thing. After about 1/2 hour to 40 minutes it is done...so I think IT IS Worth it if you can stomach the upfront time investment:confused:

WARNING....Make sure that you have a good antivirus running. I ran into a couple of viruses while submitting. So make sure you are good to go in that department.

NOTE: Factor in about a 10-15% Non Submit Factor. For one reason or another your article wont go through to all sites. Either the have been suspended, no longer exist or "Wrong Category" etc.

        Thanks for the tips!

        Here's one more question...

Are you finding that you get a lot of direct traffic from your submitted articles?

Or are you primarily using a submitter for backlinks?

    Jason,

Take my advice here as I have run the gambit of different ways to get my articles out to the masses.

Pay a service like UAW, article marketer, or isnare to distribute your articles. The submission software out there works fine, but you still need to enter some captchas as well as make sure that your articles are in the right category. This can still take up a substantial chunk of your time, especially if you are busy, which I know you are

For a few dollars a month you can outsource the entire process.

      Jeremy,

      Thanks for the reply pal.

I was going to go with iSnare's Platinum Membership, but it seems they're booked. I also don't like that your articles MUST be 500 words. That doubles my hours.

...I'm not much of an article marketer to begin with. Not much fun. I'm just seeing if I can add an extra $2,000-$3,000 to my income per month with writing about 10 articles per day and submitting them.

If you are going to bang out 10 articles a day and then submit them to hundreds of directories with software...you could be there a while.

I have had decent luck with Unique Article Wizard. Currently, dealing with Article Marketer and am somewhat satisfied. They might be worth a look.

          Hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm...

Jeremy, with Article Marketer... Say you were to submit 10 articles in one day. On average, how many hits to your website do you think you get directly from the articles? 100 or more?

...See, I hate SEs and I hate writing for SEs.

            LMAO

            HELL NO!!!!

You might get a couple of hits that trickle in. The key with mass submissions is to target the right keywords and submit them at the right pace to help with SEO on niche type sites.

If you get a low competition keyword there is a chance that you will get a good ranking from one of the directories that they submit to, but the biggest benefit to me anyway is the backlinks.

With distribution services, not only does your article go to different article directories, but also several niche specific blogs where you not only get a nice related backlink, but also the potential for some traffic depending on how well the blog itself is set up.

If you are looking to do Mass Distribution solely for a big burst of traffic from the articles that you submit, most of the time you are wasting your energy.

                haha

You get discouraged too easy dude.

If you do it right, you can completely dominate a niche in a matter of a couple of weeks with the right strategy and keywords.

Where is your sense of adventure?

I'm an "instant gratification" kind of guy.

Trying to rank in the SEs is not only a gamble, but a drawn out and boring process in my opinion. Depending on Google is like putting your life in someone else's hands.

Doesn't this software come with instructions? Support desk?

This has to be about a dozen or so threads now asking how to use this product.

      Shameless plugs maybe?

I am not sure I agree with this completely. Even with the 10-15% non submit....(Due to capcha/category etc)

I think in the long run it is cheaper and quicker to use the software.

        Really?

I can write an article and submit it to a submission service and be done without having to worry about captchas and wrong categories or the software crashing.

I guess the peace of mind is worth something to me. I tried a couple submission software product and just was not impressed and have not
revisited them yet. $30 - $40 a month is worth letting someone else take care of it, to me at least.

    Jason,

I haven't used it recently but there were at least 20 good pr sites (ie pr3 or above) that didn't require signing up for when I used it a year ago . Some directories didn't require username/passwords and those are listed and you can just submit to them if you wish . It is check boxes on submitter you indicate. Also it tells you pr of the directory so you can choose which ones you want to signup for based on that too.

yep i always hire someone from DP for this type of work. Remember you have to confirm all the sites. I made the mistake of doing this the first time without confirming and had to redo.
