Question for those of you who buy WSOs...

There have been thousands of WSOs that have been sold on the Warrior Forum. What if Author A was to sell an infoproduct based on a certain method and it turned out that another, very similar WSO had been sold previously by Author B? I'm not saying that Author A ripped off the idea from Author B and rewrote it, I'm referring more to a genuine coincidence. Would Author A get blasted in the WSO forum?

With the huge volume of WSOs being produced lately, surely there is some overlap here and there. It would suck to put in the effort of creating a quality product only to find out that someone beat you to it and sold 1,000 copies of his ebook based on roughly the same narrow subject a month or two ago.

Of course there is currently overlap in the WSO's now, I have had a few which teach and detail very similar methods just worded and pushed differently.

So you bought Product A and then Product B was basically the same thing... did you post in the thread and say so? Did you ask for a refund?

You do say it quite harshly; in essence YES. No I did not post saying so because the OTHER factors included in both Warriors WSO's were highly unique.

I may have misunderstood your OP, but I am saying some methods were used by both, Some not. For the money I paid; Refund is just little to no point.

It always happens. Innovators release products on the WSO board. Then there is a slow and steady pace of imitators releasing different but in a sense the same product. Sometime different words, and other times different mediums. Then it becomes rampant on the WSO board until the product or idea burns itself out.

It is a never ending cycle of product innovation and creation. The sales are generated by those who either are kick ass salespeople or by those that are just delivering a very high quality version of the product or idea. Sometimes the perfect storm is created when it is a combination of both of those skills plus name recognition.

Honestly most of the WSO's are similar, if not in how they're written then in what they share.

Yes, it happens all the time and no I never ask for a refund.

Show me any info product and I or someone else can usually show you one just like or almost like it.

In the same vein, WSOs many times inspire another add on or similar product. Just look at the Amazon products recently.

Also when someone buys a WSO they sometimes say "I can improve on that," or "I think my idea is better than this one," and they make the product.
