Test website

I am just about to release my first product, and have tested my site personally with paypal sandbox.But is there a way I could get other people to test it? like maybe charge $1 for my product, then return $2 for their time? How do you guys test sites?

    Why not get family and friends to test it for you? That way you'll not be spending money and not be risking paying thieves to slap your product up on torrent sites as well.

    Maybe I'm just tight-fisted of course

      Problem is most of my friends/family either don't even know what paypal is or are just computer illiterate.

      As for thieves torrenting my work, I would simply add a text file or something with a few lines writen saying " this is a test" ... not the real product.

    Im sure someone you know will be willing, you can guide them through the payment process if they are that computer illiterate.

    This is a great question that I have never really had a fool proof answer to. My first product was tested extensively, payments and delivery tested using the sandbox system, but it still failed when it went live because of a silly error that couls not be tested without a real purchase.

    So the answer is you need a real purchase from a computer and account that is independent from the ones used to set up the system.
