$5,000 in Just 5 Months ...

Hey Warriors,

I am planning to attain $5,000 in Just 5 Months with list building and affiliate programs.

As to my experience...

I have been in internet marketing for long time and I know lots of things and I still make money.

It has been for a whole that I come to the conclusion that the only way to make long term and stable income online is building a list.

So, I am ready to do it.

I am planning to build a list that can make me $5,000 in Just 5 Months.

Please, warriors, especially the experienced warriors.

How many subscribers in IM niche do I need to make $5,000 in Just 5 Months.

I would also appreciate if you could share your experience on this.

Thanks.

John

    Hey John,

There isn't a specific number. It depends on how you build your list, how responsive it is, and of course how much value you provide them!

For example, I have a list of less than 400 that can provide that much income within 2 weeks! Whereas I have other lists into the thousands that aren't as responsive.

Its kind of like the "how long is a piece of string" analogy really!

What I would do is forget about the IM niche, unless of course you are super experienced. Tap into other niches outside of IM, start a blog, promote affiliate offers via Clickbank for example and build a list too on the side!

Then just focus on driving traffic. In 5 months, 5k isn't much, and is easily achievable!

My advice, forget about the numbers and focus on the action!

    The question is ambiguous.

It's not about the size of the list. It's about the quality of the list.

Most important aspect of all, it's about the relationship you have with your list.

A list is indeed an asset that can be leveraged over and over again. But there is
    work involved.

Go out and provide value, give your subscribers exactly what they are looking for.
Build trust and a relationship. Once you have that, you can make money with
    a list of 10 people.

The very general rule would be 1 dollar per person per month so if you had a list of 1000 you should be making one thousand a month. Like the previous post said it all depends on how responsive your list is this may come down to how good your email writing is, you have to monitor the stats and try and improve your click through rates.

      I hope this helps.

    There is no definite answer.

The answer is relatively 5000 because usually a subscriber can be counted at an average of $1.

I think it depends on whether you've buyers in your list or you've freebie seekers only who want only free stuff.

Money is NOT in the list.

Money is in the VALUE you offer to your list.

And whether you write astonishingly fantastic subject lines with killer email copy that gets you more number of click-through's, and therefore leads and sales.

You need to be marketing strong products by REAL gurus with strong offers as an affiliate. Only then can you make the money out of your list.

Strange advice. I would take caution OP.

the only advice that makes sense is GoGetta's. He DOES
know what he's talking about because I've learned much
from him and he contributed to me making a few hundred
    bucks along with other influences.

I don't agree with one thing...

You MUST know your numbers before you get into a cam-
paign. It's just taking action. You can take action, make
money, and come out at a lose because you just took ac-
    tion disregard for numbers.

I have very different idea's about how you should approach
this, but it's best I not say anything more than this. Good
    luck.

It all comes down to the relationship you build with your list.

How you got them to sign up is the first indication on how responsive they will be and how much money they may or may not part with.

I find sign ups from adswaps - although fast and plentiful - are more into ooh free stuff click here read that 5 emails later board.

When I get sign ups from forums or through my website's blogs or more targeted means I find they are far more responsive.

Not to say either is better but it can affect how you market to them. I find adswap sign up seem to respond well to informative emails.
Where website sign ups work well when told this is for them.

Finding out which work for who takes time and effort and all the time you must think of your list as real people and not a pay check.

I recently tested out a more informal email the kind of thing you would send to a relative, formal but not a sales pitch or market speak.

From this one informal email I made $3,560 from a list of 689 people - most have been on my list for at least 8 months.
