This is for 100 manual submissions

When submitting feeds to RSS directories, and Blog directories.... is it allowed to include your URL in your description tag? or would they many of them reject you?

that is

Description: http://www.YourDomain.com My website is about x, y, z, please view this blog of mine,as you will benefit from it.

Would that usually be allowed by blog directories, rss directories,
#allowed #including #rss or blog #submission #urls

At this url, Making An RSS Feed - Search Engine Watch (SEW) here is an item from a typical rss feed.

Nokia 3650 Combines Phone And Photos

I've been playing with the new Nokia 3650. Finally, someone has got the combination of a cell phone with digital camera capabilities right!

There isn't a point in putting a link in the description because it is right below it.

But I'm not sure if you are talking about something else? I think of a feed as my rss.xml sheet. I submit the url example.com/rss.xml and ping that each time I add an item.

Edit: It just dawned on me, sometimes they ask for a category and a description when you submit a feed url. I guess that's what you mean? I wouldn't bother trying to put a link in there because anyone who wants the feed gets all the links with it.

      thanks.

What i mean is in the basic Submission details area, when they ask for your
      Username,
      Password,
      Email,
      Submission title,
Submission Description (Which will get viewed by people) .... - just like the one on youtube video descrptions. - but for RSS directories, and blog directories
      Keyword tags

I am asking about the red one above.
