CMS-style plugin for WordPress?

I've looked around and I can't find a plugin to make the front page of a WordPress installation in a CMS-style setup (at least that's what I think of when I see it). Then someone posted links today to themes that are laid out how I like.

But here's my problem ... I like the theme I've designed in Artisteer. I like having that power. What I need is a plugin that will accomplish the same look (if it's out there) for summarizing articles on the front page.

Here is an example (and, of course, not affiliate):
RichWP

If anyone knows of a theme that I can make a frontpage appear like this, I'd surely appreciate it!

You don't need a plugin for that... "only" web design (XHTML/CSS) skills.

(No, it can NOT be done by plugin, as far as I know.)

Why don't you download that theme and use it?

If I had CSS/HTML skills, I'd surely use them.

I might have to download that theme. It's sounding promising, since I've spent a lotta time trying to find a plugin that would do what I want.

But I figured if I asked here, someone might be able to lead me in the right direction. Especially since I kinda do enjoy the theme I already have.

    Thanks, Istvan.

That theme is a free download (at the moment) so just use it. No need to reinvent the wheel if you see what you like.

I didn't want to reinvent the wheel. But, yes, I'll toy with that theme tomorrow and see what I can do with it.
