Wordpress question: Sticky post-help

Good afternoon fellow Warriors!

I'm a little stumped on a Wordpress feature...the sticky post feature...

Now, I know how to make a page (or post?) sticky and sit at the top of my homepage but what I'd like to do is do that AND have the most recent posts show below the sticky post on my homepage.

I've tried to make this work...maybe I'm missing something.

Ideas anyone?

    Not sure if there are any pluggins for this one. The only way I know to do it is to go in after every post you make and change the date on the one you want sticky to a time after the most recent post. So if you make a post on 6/10/10 at 5:00 pm - you would have to change the date of the "sticky" to 6/10/10 5:01 pm.

    It would be great to see someone with an easier solution answer this post - I'd kinda like an answer to this one myself.

    Hi actually there is and you have discovered a technique that I have been using for four months, with a great deal of success.

    Take a look at any of the websites, in my sig and you will see how it works, it is a wordpress plugin, that I developed to make posting easier and it really works great.
