Hi guys,
I would like to know what you think of this idea.

A lot of firms let their domain expire, and so they have not a website now.

I'm thinking to find this websites and offer them an amazing new website for some hundreds dollars, so their website is up and running again.
If I registered their domains maybe that's black-hat, right?

It sounds that this would convert well, since they had website, so, they want it.

Some may want it, some may not. You need to consider why they allowed the domain registration to expire in the first place. It's possible that they do not really want it anymore.

If the owner of domain is no more interested to have it for any long so its no use of this idea, if owner wants to run it you can really click there with your idea....

Just be careful you do not register a domain name in your name that is a trademark as you could lose your hard work and end up with legal fees as well.

Otherwise the idea works, but you would have to have a USP to make it work very well.

no no, I'm not talking about big companies with trademark, but small businesses like fast food, SPA and so on

I think that the main reason why they let the domain expires is because a lot of small companies are abandoned by the company ,or private, who built the website; i mean, they have a website for one year and and then forget it.
I don't think that they don't want a website anymore

I don't know if it would be successful. I let domains expire deliberately because I no longer have an interest in the site or niche.
