When it rains...it surely will pour.

How do you put a donation paypal button in a WSO?

Right now...I have it live but no way of putting a button there to automate the download.

Debra, put the button on the actual sales page or wherever you have the
WSO link sending people too. Just copy and paste the HTML into the source
    code of the page.

Do you have your own hosting to upload a page to? I guess that's the first
    question I should have asked.

      Yeah...I have hosting.

I guess I could quickly upload the sales page with the button and put a link on the WSO pointing to it.

I've just seen cleaner ways of doing it that others have done. Just don't know how they did it on this new forum.

      Thanks a bunch!

    Hi Debra,

You can use your own image as a button by using the email payment link that Paypal provides when you make your button.

It should look something like this...

    [ url=https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=112233]

The above link is your Paypal payment link. The link below is the link to your image. Note there is an extra space after the opening bracket that should'nt be there, but it is the only way the code would show.

    [ img]http://YourWebSite.com/images/button_image.jpg[/img]

The image will have to be hosted on your server. You can look at my WSO as an example.

    I hope that made sense,

Easy as pie. Just took a while to find the HTML code which does NOT use the forms.

    I created the button here:

    https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/we...-intro-outside

Then i just put an image in the post/WSO and put the hyperlink on the image.

If you really want to have fun, get DownLoadGuard (DLG), best utility ever. Then you can set up download links for products from within DL guard, and then just put the links/buttons on your site/wso...this also automatically delivers whatever you sell and it protects your links and products from theft. I couldnt live without DLG.
