Something's wrong with my website, need a glance of a professional copyrighter...

Hey guys and gals.

My website is quite good, good PR, good design, navigation is easy... but still something's wrong with my conversion rate (it was better even with the dodgy old website)

So I'm looking for some professional copywriters [or just some conversion rate gurus] to review my website and find the mistake.

Any recommendation. Was trying to find something decent via Google with no success.

Thanks for your time.

If its the one in your signature you need more content. All I see is

"The website you are trying to view is currently experiencing difficulties, please try again later."

No I'm not talking about the website in my signature.

I'm just asking whether someone knows good source where I can find professional copywriters.

Are you for real? You do know there's a copyrighting (stet) section here on the WF? I believe that's where they hang out.

BTW a dead link in your sig. is not a good look. And not to have removed it when pointed out is an even worse look.

Pointed out... Thanks. I've sorted this out.

That's not what I made this thread for.

Anyway, my fault- I haven't made my question clear enough.

Also about the copyrighting section of this forum. Have had a deal with one of them once - didn't like.

What happened? Did you receive criticism about your copy, and you didn't agree?

The header is the first thing that grabs my attention - images will do that ("Ogilvy On Advertising"). It prevents my eye from going right to the headline, and then the super-head pulls me away from the main thought - your headline.

The way your site appears here (IE8) is with very large spaces between each paragraph - inch and a half to two inches. The space below the printed version of your signature below your photo is so large I thought it was the end of the sales page.

I wonder if people are clicking off without reading the page.

You may just have a layout problem. Have you tested it against your old page?

                :-Don

You would probably get a better response if you had posted this to the
copywriting forum (where it actually belongs) since that's where the
                  copywriters hang out.

                    Thanks for your response.

Yeah - that was a sales copy that was written by one of the members of WF copy-writing section.

But this is not the website I was talking about, just wonder why most members that responded thought about that website straight away. I know that that website looks crap, but I don't have enough time to change it for a better looks.

I was talking about different website, didn't make myself clear enough. Didn't want to share the website for everyone.

                    Cheers

Irmsher - If you are focusing on keyword density... instead of human visitors then of course it's not going to convert very well.

It could be a # of different things, which is impossible to know without seeing your site

ex. headline, sub headine, page design, opening paragraph, call to action, the use of certain words...

PM me the link and I'll give you a quick critique
