Traffic Generating Methods To Squeeze Pages...

Hey guys,

I am stuck in a rut at this point and I honestly can't think of what to do anymore.

I spent the last few days building my squeeze page and setting up my autoresponder.

Now that I have everything set up I am completely confused as to what traffic methods are available to me.

Obviously there are the obvious ones such as

-article marketing
-forum marketing
-blog posts
-give away events

However at this point I am not able to use giveaway events.

Can anyone give me a few more ideas to generate some converting traffic?

SEO could be pretty useful. Optimize your squeeze page for a keyword with competitors you can easily beat and try to reach the 1st position and stick to it.

Bookmark your website too and write guest posts on related blogs.

Make a video, post it on youtube, tag it with the right keywords.

    Good luck!

      Hi Louise,

What do you think about my plan:

      This is for 1 blog:

30 or more articles a month
      Posting on related blogs
      Press Releases
Yahoo Answers( if questions are available)
At least 30 videos a month. (These are easy to make)

I was going to try forums but it's hard to find forums that allow sig files for my niche.

I am promoting my Amazon product blog.

That's good! Don't forget to create backlinks to help your articles get ranked. You can publish the same articles on other directories and at the bottom, insert an anchor text link with your keyword.

You can also post on forums and insert a link to your squeeze page in your signature.

And don't forget to bookmark your posts. You can use socialadr.com to automate it.

Be consistent, write articles every day and it'll do.

Make another page on your site with a specific keyword phrase as the title and the topic of your page. Then go to Digg, and digg your page. Post about your page on twitter. Get a tumblr blog and make a couple of posts there.

Post some articles on Goarticles with links to your new page and then link to them in additional posts on your tumblr, and twitter pages.

Get an account at Mixx, and add you new page to your own personal mix there as well.

Make a hubpage and link to it from your tumblr blog.

Maybe those can help a bit.

          Thanks...

I tried finding forums for my niche but many do not allow sig files like WF.

But even If I don't go after forums, there are plenty of blogs I can comment on.

At the very least I'll try to find 2 high traffic forums that allow sig files for my niche.

            Hi there

We all know how difficult it is to get on the 1st page of google with a squeeze page. Simply because it is a one page website and google does not like these kind of pages (squeeze page).

When google spiders reach your website, they want to see a hell of allot content that describe your web page as the keywords being typed into a search engine.

So, if you want to get on the 1st page of google, I suggest you get a wordpress blog. Remember that you can make it your own blog by buying a domain and hosting for it.

If not, then the best way of driving traffic to your squeeze page is through article marketing, forum marketing and video marketing.

    PPC ?

    By far the quickest.

Ensure you get some decent tracking in so you can see the value per visitor.

Content network is pretty viable for opt in traffic.

If you have atleast $500, I will give you the sources I use to
get real, targeted traffic. None of the speculative, non-buyer
    traffic your most familiar with.

But the catch is obviously the $500. Not to me (although I
should charge), but for when you run this particular campaign
it will cost money to run a test or 2 before scaling for infinite
    results.

Articles, blogs, seo, etc is good...but what I have is a life
changer. But don't bother contacting me or fooling yourself
if you don't have $500 to put towards your marketing budget.

Get a job, make a few hundred bucks...and have some money
to invest on marketing your business.

      That's quite a nice list.

@Gclunis: include a video in your squeeze page highlighting the benefits of your report. IMHO the call to action is a little bit "poor".

Stay away from SEO, squeeze pages really aren't made for it. Once you get some subscribers, do some JVs/list swaps with other people in your niche.

If it's IM there's a whole section of the warrior forum dedicated to that sort of thing.

  • SEO ...
    PPC ...
Geeeeez... have you actually tried to rank a squeeze page on Google for ANY decent keyword? it's impossible! Same thing with PPC: Adwords is not a cheap way of building a mailing list anymore, plus Google tends to slap squeeze pages sooner or later.

The best (and pretty much only) way of driving volume of traffic to a squeeze page are JVs: create a good product, place the sales page behind the squeeze page, offer 100% commission to affiliates, and contact everyone within that niche: list owners, bloggers, forum admins, etc.

SEO and PPC for a squeeze page??? yeah right...

LOL, sorry are you saying you don't think you can run PPC to a squeeze page ?

Ever heard of the content network or any other paid service other than Google ?

      Yeah right...

      Of course you can.

      SEO, that's another story .

For the record this program is 100% founded on paid to squeeze.

      http://www.warriorforum.com/internet...image-ads.html

He does nothing but send paid traffic to a squeeze page and he's been
doing it for ages, very successfully with full proof.

JV traffic is nice, but it's paid works very nicely as well , I've managed
      just fine for years.

What are you giving away to build your list? A free report works best as it's something that you can leverage with other people in your niche to get adswaps going.

If it's the 21 tips to self-improvement that you have in your sig file then I think you will need all of your positivity as conversion on that page is going to be low.

  • Hi, remember as well you can set up an opt in form on your blog. a wordpress blog is easier to optimise to get on the first page of google. simply put your free report and opt in form on the side bar of your blog.

I use facebook a lot for traffic and it works well, you can add friends in your niche easily buy adding friend through targeted groups, you can create your own group and put your squeeze page in the description.

Craigslist can be another valuable traffic source. Just try not to spam and get your account banned, it's hard to get multiple accounts.

I use article marketing and it does drive traffic but it takes a long time. PPC works quickly but is very expensive. Solo ads seem to be the best deal. Free ads are bountiful but eat up tons of time to manage.

Video on YouTube and other video submission places are cheap and effective in my mind. Jing dot com is free to use and can be combined with powerpoint with decent results. Robetuk is correct I think. It is free...why not give it a try.

Does anyone know about DOE. Is it worth $200 to join?

PPC (Adwords in this case) to Squeeze Pages STILL WORKS!

Google did slap the daylights out of most sites, but rightly so. Go read the Google
Guidlines for Landing pages and adapt. I am still getting $0.15 clicks for
my squeeze pages from the Search Network.

Google does not tell you exactly what to do, but there are good guidlines and once you
start changing, you will quickly realize what they want

To drive traffic to your squeeze page I have two words: Link Wheel

Create satelite sites around your squeeze page, you can follow this blueprint

1 Write a 500 words article and rewrite it into 6 more articles (Or write 7 articles)

2 Create a Blogger and put one article linking your SP (squeeze page) and to a wordpress blog.

3 The wordpress blog that you will create put another version of the article and link your SP and a Squidoo Lens you are going to create.

4 The Squidoo Page you will put an article linking your SP and to a Hub Page.

5 The Hub page will be linking your SP and a Ezine Article

6 Close the circle linking your ezine article to your SP and your Blogger.

7 The other 2 articles you will take one and submit it to other article directories linking your SP

8 The last article you will use it to post in some Wordpress MU Blog linking your SP

9 Take one article and shrink it into bullets, create a powerpoint presentation and record it using camstasia or camstudio, reading over the presentation, to make a video. Upload it to Tubemogul linking your squeeze page.

10 Put the video on your hubpage, your squidoo lens, your blog.

    11 Digg your articles

12 Now you need to PBT everything.

Oh... sorry PBT = Ping - Bookmark - Tweet

It takes like five hours to complete the whole process (1 hour a day) but you can see some nice organic traffic coming to your Squeeze Page.

I have been trying to rank my squeeze page on google through seo myself the past few weeks, and have to agree with some of the comments above that it's hard to rank a single squeeze page.

Having learned from my mistake, what I am looking to do now is turn that squeeze page(same domain and site on wordpress) into a blog loaded with fresh content everyday, using my main keyword from my domain. I am going to put my offer in the sidebar so it is always visible.
