hi, i need help with marketing strategy for a start up

hey all

i run a start up and unfortunately i lack marketing experiences. i'm wondering if fellow warriors can pitch in some ideas.

our site is stiqr dot com. i'm looking for all suggestions. thanks!

      I would put some audio with the demo video explaining what you are doing and how easy it is. At he very least put some music with it.

      First of all, is your page optimized for search engines?
      If no, do it.
      If yes:
      - Submit it to social media sites and directories.
      - Comment in forums and blogs related to the topic of your site.
      - Make a video and submit it to YouTube and other video directories, besides embedding it in your site.
      - Write some articles and submit them to EzineArticles and other directories.
      - Make a Squidoo or a Hubpage
      - Write a press release
      - Keep building backling to your site and to your articles, hubs and lenses (Squidoo)

    Just visited your site and found it interesting. The video played without audio. I am not sure if that is by design, but audio would greatly improve conversion, in my opinion.

    Then, as has been said, I think a WSO would be a smart move in order to get testimonials and other feedback. Nex step would be Press Releases, Social Network sites, etc.

    It's where you can list your item for sale - but it has to be a special offer for the Warrior Forum. There's a cost involved - but go check it out cause there's a mine of info in there about it.

    Since it has so much to do with social networking sites, I would definitely bookmark it on as many social networking sites as possible, articles, and a press release like mentioned above.

    I also love the video idea. You would be surprised how much traffic that can bring in.

    Enjoyed visiting your site and learning a bit more -- looks interesting!

    Definitely agree that voice with video, explaining how easy and more of the process
    would be more beneficial to viewers and increase conversions.

    Tried to view your Privacy Policy and Terms and couldn't find any active link.

    Would like to see more in your about, like who you are and where located.

    The only place I saw your contact info was in an image on About page. Someone
    would have to copy your email address into their browser to write to you -- maybe a simple link to contact would get more response. (At least, put your contact info out of the image so someone could cut and paste into their system).

    I read enough on your forum to learn that it's free for now and then going to a
    $35 signup in July(?) or free then with Stiqr embedded -- think this could be clearer. Price page looks like 1/2 price until July then going to $70. (Or, did I read it wrong?)

    I like your idea and would like to learn more.
