Video sales letter software?

Does anyone know of a good program, not membership
site, that allows you to created video style sales letters?

I would like one that allows me to create the text
screens and then as I record the audio I can press
"any key" to show the next slide as I go.

I tried camtasia but doing the timing/editing was
a pain.

    I used Powerpoint and camtasia.

Apparently screenflow is good on a mac.

You definitely need Powerpoint, it makes the whole thing a breeze. I use Camtasia, Powerpoint, and an Audio Technica 2020 USB microphone. The videos turn out great and provided I don't make any mistakes, they are a synch to record. On the off chance I do make a mistake or two it's only a matter of cutting that part out of the video using Camtasia. Export the video and you're done.

  • If you're a PC user: PowerPoint + Camtasia Studio

If you're a Mac user: Keynote + ScreenFlow

And yes, I agree: post-recording editing can get time consuming if you want to polish it all off.

Definately powerpoint and camtasia. That is the best thing in my opinion. Easy to edit and easy to use and it turns out great.

    Your title caught my attention...

I currently use Power Point 2010 (nice slide animations etc)
    and camtasia 7 ...

Im currently developing some "Video Sales Letter Software" as i type this.
Which will provide the user a proven "sales formula" and spit the recordable results out the other side...

That's happening straight after my "normal" sales letter software,
as I believe they both have their place (normal sales letters VS video sales letters)...

But proven to be more effective when used together (I've only done 2 tests so far though).

Sounds like you're trying to create your Slides and Add your audio in Camtasia?
It'll be better to go download the 60 Day Free Trial of MS Office 2010 >>

(if you're on PC, if not get KeyNote & ScreenFlow for MAC)

Create all your slides first, then record your video sales letter
    with Camtasia or ScreenFlow.

    Be heaps easier for you.

So everyone has hammered home the powerpoint/camtasia method (and hey, that's what I use), but one thing you might want to check out is a screen capture add on for firefox.

I heard about it on the here at WF and it's supposed to be good. If you used that with Google Docs presentation tool it could work...

Depending on PC Power... using browser based technology along with video capturing software can slow down performance, therefore making slides & timing "jumpy" etc...

great point though if you have a bit of power to play with.

Tip for flat-brokers: Camstudio.org (video screen capture) + Open Office (Power Point alternative) = 100% Free
