New Unexplored Niche ..Results?

I have currently stumbled upon a niche that almost appears to be un charted territory. All the perfectly targeted keywords are all available as domains as well.I was sure this was a great sign.

Every single targeted keyword that i can think of is still available as domains. In fact there are several major companies in this niche and they are mostly all national companies..Every domain i can imagine is still available except of course the exact name of the niche..

In reference to the multiple keywords as i mentioned above ,After googling these and writing down the results i find that 50% have around 35,000-50,000 results and the other 50% have much less than that..This is a little confusing to me .As i once learned when i first came to this site that if there is a niche out there not being explored ,well then there is probably a reason..But on the other hand this is a relatively strange niche much more common then you would think but is not talked about much and is unheard of as well..The only time this topic comes up would be in a lawyers office perhaps or even in realtors office perhaps....

Of course you know i cant really mention this niche name as of right now until i have riddled out exactly what i am going to do...

It doesnt take that long to build a website. Just try it out.

Worst case scenario, you gain experience. Best case scenario, you make some money and gain experience.

Use your head. Can you make money in this niche? Without telling us, nobody will be able to give more specific suggestions

Robert, while you may be on to something really good here, before you dive and spend too much time and money testing, you need to determine if the search keywords are actually "buying" keywords, in other words are people looking to purchase a solution to a problem or are they just searching for information.
A good example would be I found keywords that get about 40,000+ searches a month and there is not much competition from adwords. However I don't think people searching the term "mars moons" are looking to purchase.

I think you mean the competition each keyword has, right?

If that's the case, then here's my stand on this one.

I don't pay any heed to the number of competing sites.

    WHOA

Yup, that's right and here's why.

I think that the only competition I have is the first 10 websites and I use Market Samurai to find out the amount of backlinks and other details about these websites. If they seem easy to beat, I go ahead and build my sites

I haven't posted here before, but I promise I have done a great deal of work. That said, while I agree with Mohammed to an extent, I still prefer to use 100k competitors as the line of demarcation - it is almost always easy to rank given that and less than 30 to 50k in exact match global keyword searches.

use google keyword tool to see how many searches the keywords get and then use seo plug in for firefox and google each keyword. Check the stats for the first page results and see how tough the competition really is. Also check to see if there are advertisements in the results.

it doesnt matter if there are 50 results or 50 million if the first page is full of PR 0 sites with minimal backlinks, or if the first page is full of high Pr authority type sites with lots of page links. That is what i would use to determine the competition.
