Clickbank VS amazon VS PPC

Hello warriors,

First of all, i would like to thank you for the very good topics that you are creating. As it is my first thread, i would like you to know that i am glad to be a member of this forum and happy to meet you.

Well, as a newbie to internet marketing, i am creating a website concerning a niche. so I :

- Developed a new article writing procedure (Private use) based on Customer behavior and marketing techniques as learned in university. I am focusing on only 1 website and i would like to treat it like a king with an excellent content.

NB: the number of written articles is 150 unique articles of high quality.

So now i have to choose a source of revenue from this website. i am hesitating to chose either click bank or amazon and eventually PPC.

So, after your own experience, which one of these 3 affiliate programs is worth the work i am doing ?

I thank you in advance for your answers.

I believe you are confused to the meaning of affiliate website.

Amazon runs an affiliate program. Clickbank is an 3rd party payment processor of infoproducts, and that includes an affiliate program (a large catalog), and PPC is a method of driving traffic.

Thank you Rob for the clarification you made. But in what concerns my website, i would like to sell a method from click bank or a book treating the subject from amazon. So, in order to make money, do you think it's better to sell amazon's books or click bank's ones ?

i am confused because i would like develop a traffic power on my website.

A question to add : how many visitors can i have in the first month if everything is done correctly. What i mean by correctly is :

      • A search engine friendly website
      • Optimized articles for search engine
      • 1000 backlink to the website
      • 3 to 5 articles per day in the articles directory
      Thank you.

Clickbank will give you a higher commission than an Amazon book. But you can always test and see what works best for the niche you're in.

Regarding visitors, it's impossible to say without knowing which keywords you will use. And even then - it will depend on a host of other factors.

          Thank you Sarah,

Yes indeed, keywords play a very big role in the traffic. Then you think that the conversion rate of Click bank is good? i was reading that a normal conversion rate is 1.5 %. But i have been wondering 1,5 % of what ? the visitors that i send to the sell page ? or from the global traffic that i have on my own website ?

          Thank you

I have to say, if you website is SEO friendly, you've got 1k backlinks (from good sources I assume), your articles have keywords in them, and you have 150 articles posting 3-5 a day, then you're golden. The hard work is done. Now comes the fun part.

    1. Monetization

Try out different ad places, different promotions, products, networks, etc. Maybe try selling direct ad space. Put affiliate links inside of articles, etc. Just play around, split test, and see what works best.

    2. Promotion

Do some guest blogging on related sites and get attention to your site. Take other people's audiences and turn them into your own audience.

Congrats, sounds like you've done some wonderful work so far! Prepare to make money!
