    I typically use this format;

    1.What is Product
    2.Why someone would need product(struggle-problem)
    3.What's inside product
4.How product can solve the problem
    5. Cons of product
    6. Pro's of product
    7. Final thoughts

I will usually have links to my affiliate offer at the very top, after how product can solve and at the very bottom after final thoughts.

Do you want the review to appear on your website or as an article that is published by directories?

The content can be different as, if the review is published elsewhere, I structure the article to encourage readers to click on my resource box to visit my website.

It's simple enough to mention some of the features and benefits of the product. It can aid credibility if you also mention weaknesses that are not really off-putting; eg, "so small it can easily get mislaid".

It's important to remember that the real purpose of the review is your 'call to action'. That is, what action you want the reader to take next, such as to opt-in to a form or click on a link to visit the merchant or a page on your website. Try to build curiosity so that the reader will be tempted to want more and will do what you ask.

Another good thing to keep in mind is all the additional sources you can find information on said "product", say your using Amazon to source the products for reviews:

You can go to the manufacturers website and as many other sites as possible to gather information that Amazon does not have available to buyers. Things like product manuals and specifications can often be found online, try to stick with facts where you can, instead of opinion (after all you want to sell the stuff, right) This will not only give your visitors more value for visiting your site but also could potentially bring them back because you went the extra mile. Way to many people simply copy the same thing Amazon has up as a description and then wonder why nobody buys through their link.

Search for as much information as possible on every single product you review and copy/paste into a folder on your computer, then all you got to do is compile the info into an informative and attention grabbing 500-700 of YOUR OWN words...easy right?

I like to use a 5 paragraph layout, or something like it.

1st paragraph - preview image, brief discussion about the item.
    2nd paragraph - discussing point 1
    insert video around this location
    3rd paragraph - discussing point 2
    insert another image around here
    4th paragraph - discussing point 3
5th paragraph - review and closure

When possible - links to related article here

Sometimes the second or third paragraph might just be a list of details, and not an actual discussion on the product.

I think it's good to say who the product is for (ie. for people with little time, a full-time jon and looking to get involved in the Forex market).

Thanks for everyones' replies. They are all helpful.

I remember a time (before I was interested in IM) when I would see a sales page and think 'great, someone trying to get money out of me'

The whole 'values in exchange for money' process never occurred to me.

I know I can't speak for the majority, but I think the 'presell' must be as important as the salse page. Why? Because I would run a mile as soon as someone mentioned a money.

I want to be honest, sincere and still have people buy a product that will help them.
