I have been on the web quite a few years but sadly still a newbie. Its a case of rolling stone gathering no moss, spent fortune along the way, information overload, just name it!

Probably need a mentor with good support.

Any advice?

    Hi Pafran,

The best advice I can give you is to pick one method and stick with it until it works. It's even better if you can find someone who uses that method successfully. Then you can ask them questions when they come up.

    Good luck,

    Sara

    hey Pafran,

I'll shoot you a PM with some info about the guy who coached me. If you want, you can look into it. I do most of my internet marketing through PPC, mostly Google, Yahoo and MSN. I've had some great success and wouldn't mind passing some info along to you! also, just keep reading forums like this one....people love sharing ideas and giving advice.

Hi there and welcome, I'm still learning as well - but I've made some sales just by trying to stick to one thing and keep pushing at it - and as you'll find this is a great forum, lots of great information - and have many have said (and I heard a lot of the same thing when I was first getting going as well) - just try one thing at a time and keep pushing too make it work

I am still learning too, but I could not agree more with the comments here about sticking to it. It has taken me almost a year, but at last the penny has dropped and I am focussed!.
Information overload and not being focussed is the biggest enemy.
Numba8, I would be indebted if you can PM me with details of who mentored you. I am interested in getting some PPC going, but have failed so far...

I've been online since 2004 and have been bouncing around from one thing to the next and then to the next.

As pretty much everyone else has said you need to pick something and work at it and it alone until it turns a profit and then reinvest that profit.

    Three Words:
    Focus... Action... Daily...

Do that and you will succeed if you have the desire, or put another way.

You will succeed IF you have a big enough WHY!

You have to define the Why... mine is to retire from the dreaded day J.O.B. by 2014 when I hit 55. Determine what yours is then implement the three words above.

I will always wonder how many people have skimmed over the gold in this post and will never understand it... they will always be broke.

My own "Why" was that I like sleeping late, but I still want to eat breakfast.

So I had to get away from my J.ust O.ver B.roke so that I could do both and never be in a rush. Now I have my own 11:AM table at IHOP.

Maybe I should do something in the weight-loss niche after all... I'm sure I could make some money off myself... Maybe get rid of these new 20 pounds that I have picked up in the last few years...

I'd start putting all that information together. Start simple. Try setting up a wordpress blog and promoting an affiliate link.

What are you passionate about? List down the entire list of things that you are passionate about first and we'll see how we can help you from there.

After a few years in internet marketing, I realized what really helped me was doing what i'm really passionate about.

    Hi pafran,

I am still learning too. I coudnt agree more from the comments made in this thread. Luckily i got a good mentor/coach to guide me along the way. I started in February 2010.. i believe, when you have a great mentor = without action the result is fail.

so ..learn, plan, action, watch the statistic and rinse and repeat. ..Always keep it simple.

    Good Luck.

    Best Regards,
    Mal

True. I remember that since I stick onto Yaro's products, programs and offers, I've never been so happy like this and probably, you might get all points from here:

You have to select your interests then again select one or tow of them and stick with them provide a good information to your visitors about your niche. this practice will make you much professional in your field.
So you have save yourself from those marketers who tells to make a big amount in short time of period. They are established marketer and they can do it bcz they are doing it from years and telling you the latest position of their.
Always concentrate on your goal don't miss-guide yourself.

    Hey Pafran,

I've been in your shoes not too long ago. There was just so much information everywhere and different myths and different ways to make money it was just so overwhelming. For me personally finding a mentor that taught me one specific thing and told me what to do and i learn as i was doing it, i asked questions like why am i doing this, what is it for, what does this mean, etc, really helped me get a boost and get me out of the information overload zone.

I found that the fastest way to learn, while your actually doing it!

    Pafran,
Good advice here. KISS, Focus, Do,Consistant. Too many of us (welcome to the club) are too anxious to make $$$ and try everything that's out there. It happens to the best and most of us. It's a slow learning curve. Good luck
