Do you guys make very good friends with other warriors?

Hey guys, after a few years of experience online, I realized that networking is one of the most important things to do for your business even if it's online too.

Not only they pushed you to greater heights, you can achieve success faster when discuss and exchange strategies.

Just curious, so do you guys make friends with other warriors in the forum? Get them to your IM or MSN or even add them to your facebook account?

I absolutely believe that success is best achieved with a large and vibrant network of friends, associates and business colleagues.

Having said that, it is important to make the distinction between a friendly relationship and a working relationship so that you keep each other accountable if you are working together.

i.e. If you are working with someone and they don't fulfil their end of the agreement this is a work disagreement and should be treated as such. Don't let someone get away with bad work or just plain no work because you are 'friends.' If they aren't respecting you enough to do what they promised to do how friendly are you really?

There are many collaborations but I would think all starts from building the friendship and trust. The first few ways of collaborations are joint venture, exchanging thank you pages etc.

In deeper form of collaborations, it involves partnerships which I'm not too sure how many warriors are actually doing so.

But I guess the first step is actually to add each other in facebook or IM so it's easier to chat and exchange some juicy strategies that is only shared with close friends?

The best way to network is to attend industry related events and meet people in person. Warrior forum PMs are ignored... coz we have no idea whether we are dealing with the next gen Bill Gates or a Stupid Freak

Good friends? Nope. But I have made tentative contacts with a few Warriors and have had couple of conversations from that.

Specifically what I'm looking for is people to mastermind with, bounce ideas off, swap experiences with ranking in Google etc..

I have been involved in affiliate/internet marketing for 3 years now, though I do know a few aspiring marketers, I don't feel they are as committed as me.

From now on, I shall make more of an effort to get in touch with others.

George Tee, in the spirit of this thread, a PM's on the way!
