Hard time reading posts because of small fonts?

If you have trouble reading the forum because of font sizes (or just age-induced near-sightedness), here's a tip that will help.

Hold down the Ctrl key and tap the + key to enlarge the contents of your browser window. You can do this multiple times if needed. To go back to a normal size, hold down the Ctrl key and tap 0.

If you want to "zoom out" on a page, the keystroke combination is Ctrl-minus.

Maybe that's it. I've worn glasses to correct for nearsightedness since I was 5 or so. I tend to notice nearsightedness more than the other.

I never knew you could do that. Thanks. That will help on those posts where
people feel the need to type in size 2 font.

      OK everyone.

We can stop writing in large font just to be kind to old short-sited Paul.

Let's get back to normal size like this.

What about those of us who suffer from short term memory loss? I keep having to go back and read the original post just to know what the hell I'm commenting on...

Is there a keyboard shortcut for that?

And, on a Mac, that would be same key combinations, except substituting the Command key for the Control key.

Or we could all start typing really big.

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

Or, if you're using Firefox, you can use the No-Squint Site Settings add on and set a default size to enlarge each page. I keep mine set on 120 when I'm on my mini and it works great!
