I have Finally Made My First Affiliate Sale

Hello Warriors,
I recently got seriously involved with Warrior forum, I spend close to 8 hours daily ( no lies) reading posts on here and finally decided to create a lens on squidoo and through the help of every one most especially :

And many others I have finally made my first sale after 9 months of starting IM. I am so glad I have finally broken the jinx.

At a stage I thought a Nigerian can never make it online except to engage in scams, I was beginning to believe IM is meant for Americans alone but waking up this morning to check my clickbank account as usually done every morning I see a little 19.36 which looks to me as 19 million.

It has never been easy, I was close to quitting when I decided to PM Tess47. She has been such a great internet mother to me and I must say I appreciate her effort.

I say I big thank you to every one who has helped me in one way or the other and to those who are struggling like me, don't give up just yet. Remember quitters don't win and winners don't quit.

I don't know where the 1 sale is coming from and I will be glad if some one can give me tips on how to track my sales next time.

You can keep track by setting a unique ID on clickbank for each link. When you create your hoplink there is a box where you put your username and another for your tracking ID. You can keep track of your ID's in a spreadsheet or word document so you know which is which.

Nigeria holds many challenges for you guys doing IM over there, so i take my hat off to you.
May your success be so great that you may live in constant amazement.

As for tracking the sale, i use clickaudit.com - a free tracking service. On yous site you just replace your affiliate link with it, and you will know exactly how many clicks each one gets, and how many clicks it takes to get a sale.

You can check your lens statistics to see where the traffic is coming from. For traffic classified as "direct traffic" (email, ebook), you simply use tracking links again.

Now, once you have that lens getting really good traffic, go start another one in a different niche and do what you did to be successful with this one. Keep on working - you now know that you CAN do it!

Well done - I can remember the excitement of that first sale.

Now that you know how to do it - could I suggest trying a market that isnt quite so competitive? I'm not saying to stop what you're doing, but I think maybe try something with less competition, a micro niche.

There are heaps of them around, with not quite so much competition.

Just my opinion.

Thanks to every one. it feels good getting that first sale after such a long time. I am not resting just yet and I am already creating another lens - n the same niche anyway will give other niches a try soon but I don't know which niche.

I am wondering if Good will index each module in my lens separately or will it only index the one at the first page? I need to know so as to decide which of my article should come first and which should come last.

The first sale seems like it is the hardest and feels the best! That is great now just keep on perservereing. You may go a few days without another sale, but don't panic. It will come back around if you keep acting and learning.
