If I put a video that I own on YouTube do I have the right to take it down whenever I so choose? Or will it stay in Googles Cache for all time?

Thanks

If you remove it, it's not visible to anybody .

I presume you mean Googles "Cache", if you do, don't worry about it.

Once the video is taken down, it's gone, nobody can see it .

      This.

I removed videos in the past without any problems.

google may cache the page, but the video is hosted on youtube. If you pull it, no one will be able to view it.

You own the videos that you put on youtube - and you may remove them at anytime.

However, youtube might keep a copy of the video on their private servers. If you want the video removed from their private servers, I think you have to write a letter and physically mail the request to them - and you may want to mail it certified mail.

I think youtube keeps a copy just in case any legal issues come up with the video - like if someone makes a threat towards another person, copyright infringement issues,,,,,, stuff like that.

At the bottom of the youtube home page there is a terms of service agreement - be sure to read through that agreement. If you have any questions, contact youtube directly.
