basics of computer technicalities.

I am peed off with all the content I have purchased that teaches lots of great marketing strategies, you know the just do a squeeze page, or do articles or do links in yr articles on squidoo etc etc.

OK but no one tells you how to do the uploading and links.

I guess most people have a basic knowledge but as i was in school even before they had CALCULATOR'S i am lacking that basic knowledge and don't have time to go to college.

I am willing to pay I am not after something for nothing I just need to get started.

    Are you talking about how to setup a website? You certainly don't need to go to college for that : there are heaps of basic resources out htere and you certainly dont' need to pay anyone for it. Do you have a domain name? Do you have hosting? What sort of site do you want to develop blog? mini site? If you can give some more details maybe I can point you in the right free direction. Seriously the technical stuff is the easy bit: its marketing thats hard LOL

      You think that the techie stuff is easy, but for many people, techie stuff is a total nightmare. And maybe marketing is something they understand much better and find very easy.

      And I appreciate everyone's honesty here. Its great to know we have people fighting like Warriors with all aspects of Intenet Marketing.

        2. I already have reports on all of those, but they are in PDF format.

        3. Now if you had said 2131 in a day that might be different

        1. You cannot do that unless you have the talent. It's not just about what software you use. Photoshop is far the best for doing it. I saw some boxes, books, dvd covers etc - done with cover action pro (dunno if that's the correct name)

        4. You have to follow some wp rules for that, I can build a tutorial.

        Sorry my friend but I do usually charge for my time, but Mike caught my attention and I know the things he needs will be quick to show. BTW I usually outsource my graphical requirements.

        I'll make the videos available for free to Warriors in case there's anyone else who has the same questions as Mike.

          Now that's a typical Andy Henry post! I really like your attitude.

          BTW... if someone didn't realize... that list of problems was just a bit of sarcasm over there... I know the answers to all these questions excpet the one that talks about getting 30% conversion.

          Regarding the backlinks, well you know why I spoke about Theme designing. That's opne very viral and viable way to get that many links in a day from many different WP blogs.

          Regarding the videos Andy, I will watch the video you have created and then if Michael has any more questions, I will create a video to supplement yours.

    I can help you with that. Having videos is a great idea, but what if you encounter something that wasn't explained in that video?

    I believe that 1 on 1 is the best way to achieve what you want.

    Michael,

    I would suggest learning basic HTML and some programming language such as PHP. I couldn't imagine surviving in this industry without either.

    If you want to make money on the web, you must know how to work with web pages, period.

    Just a do a little self discovery and look at HTML tutorials, don't let someone rip you off just because you don't know what's going on yet.

    Hi Michael

    it's not a bad idea to learn some basics... Go to pagetutor.com (its free) & learn how to do html ( html is the code used to create web pages) - I learnt so much from that site. It's good to have a bit of basic knowledge in this kinda stuff so you can easily make adjustments. They do have a paid service on that site but everything you need is available for free - the paid stuff is the real techie stuff that you dont really need.

    Then I'd take up Andyhenry on his incredibly generous offer of videos to guide you thru it.

    I'd def recommend you NOT buy anything until you have a good idea on which direction you'd like your business to take.
