High Price point vs Payment Installments?

INTERNET MARKETING

I want to know your opinions... on the price point of an info product. would you rather pay upfront $97 for the full access of the content or would you rather pay a lower amount each month or 2 weeks to get drip content?

Since it is an information product I assume some would want it NOW but the price point might take away some users?

  so I tested both but it seems to be the same... I started with high price point with downsell and then a low 3 payment installments to an upsell. both came about even.
  
  users who got the low price landing sales page upsold to the one time payment as well as the high price point decided to downsell at the bi weekly payment. which was weird

Which option gives you the best Ferriss factor? Less effort, time. More productivity. You indicated that the money was about the same.

Could you charge more for the payments and give them the option?

Well, I would go with High Price point if both have been same for you. The reason behind it is because it will have less chances of losing your money like if someone choses installation option and then he doesn't then you will lose certain amount of money for sure.

I like to offer a one-time payment on my sales page, and if they exit out the sales page then I offer the 3 installments via a pop up alert. But, as a general rule of the thumb, I ALWAYS try to get the one-time sale first.

intersting to see the poll with users who want to buy at low price point first, while everyone here that posted seemed to want to do one time payment.

very interesting stuff, but I think Ima gon to do low price point with an upsell to the one time payment.

I like digital joe idea - I did this in the past but I think it should be one or the other - since i also have a sales letter video too... cause I will have to adjust that.

  The best way to go about this is to ask the people in your niche. Make a survey at a site like surveymonkey.com and send it to your list or which ever other way you communicate with your market. Try to get as many responses as possible from them and then you will get your answer.
