Where do People find free articles to place on a website?

Does anyone here get articles from other people to place on their own site for free?

What I am talking about, is there a source/community of people that will give up their articles as long as I give a linkback to them?

I would like to find relevent article to use for my sites.

    Google for "article directory" and you'll find a lot of them.

    Hi, i do agree with them - article directories and Google. There are PLR contents that you can use and post to your blog or site.

    EzineArticles.com and GoArticles.com are the good places to start. : )

    As the previous posters have said, you can just Google "article directories" and get your answer. However, some of the best article directories are:

    ezinearticles.com

    goarticles.com

    articlesbase.com

    These are three where you will find plenty of articles to place on your website. Just make sure that you choose the ezine publisher option, and be sure to include a link to the person's website if you use their content.

    I third the article directories. Many of us write articles for these directories just hoping and wishing that someone would pick it up and put it on their site just so we can get the backlink.

    Thanks for your guys help, but I am looking to see if anyone knows if there is a website/community out there with a sole purpose of connecting writers with a group of webmasters looking for content.

    Im not sure if I am making it understandable or not. Let me know if you don't know what I mean.

        I am looking for both- a community of people on both sides - web publishers and writers.

        To be honest, my main priority is to just look for a source. Thats my main goal. I don't know if their is actually much places like this online.

        And I have looked spent a lot of time searching around myself and only know of one place which is a yahoo group. Just seeing if someone knows of anything here

        Im not looking for article directories at all. Just a community of where people can connect or can just pick up an article (focused primarily on this & not directories).

    There are tons of sites out there just do your homework. Start really getting out ther and reading good quality information and it will take you must farther. Than just asking questions...

    Ezinearticles.com and Go Articles are best place to get articles. There are many more places just Google "Article Directory" and you will find lots and lots of sites.
