I Need Help With My Blog

Hey folks, I'm a total Warrior Virgin so if I am not asking this question in the right section please forgive me.

I have been trying to get my blog to rank on the search engines and I've been having a hell of a time doing it...

A buddy of mine who uses this forum told me that if I asked for help here that someone would steer me in the right direction.

So for that reason, I won't put my address to my blog here until I get some type of response and then I will send my link in the reply so nobody thinks that I want to spam the forum because I don't.

I do want help though... and desperately. I've been messing around online for too long not to be making any damn cash!

I tried to pm you about your article service but I don't have enough authority here on the forum yet. Do you offer spinning of articles as well or do you simply write the articles on behalf of someone like myself?

Please give us a little more information. If your blog title is using very competitive keywords it could be difficult to rank. The more exclusive the keywords in your title the easier it will be. For example, I had to use the my middle name to get my full name which I use for my blog to be unique to Google.

Also, create your blog site using WordPress if you have not done so as this will be favored by Google and help your rankings.

Try to get back-links from other websites independent of your own server. The better the back-links in age and page rank of the site you are linking to the better. This will help rank you over sites that do not have back-links but might be ranking better for the same keywords as your site.

Does you content change often. Consider adding a complimentary feed that will add fresh content regularly.

Ensure the meta tags in your blog website are used to their best advantage.

These are a few pointers to be going on with.

Thank you guys for the prompt responses. I actually do have a wordpress blog and I post pretty frequently as well. I'm am very unsure of how to properly utilize my meta tags and keywords.

My blog is RhandellMitchelldotcom - If anyone wants to take a look and give me some additional ideas.

I'm going to check out that 30 day challenge too. I appreciate your responses.

Your website ranks on the first page of Google for your name so at least you do not have much competition with the name Rhandell Mitchell.

Getting the site to rank for competitive keywords to do with internet marketing or network marketing is going to take a lot of work getting good links etc. Try to find less competitive keywords to win by.

Your site looks very good. I notice you have your Ezine article on Google as well as a Facebook link. These all come up under your name.

This goes to show that when you brand yourself and your name gets known, people will find you easily enough.

    Hey There,

For a start if yuo use your blog as a marketing tool the first approach would be to have your blog as a niche blog, research and find a hot niche to market to, and post between 2 or 3 times a week at least to it with relevant niche content, the search engines not only love niche content but will start to index your blog on their relevant search search result pages!

For example if your blog was on dog training in general, you may post about a certain breed of dog and how to train it in a certain way, if this is a popular targeted subject, then google for example will rank it high for that specific search result, meaning you will get great exposure to your blog for that one post!

With that in mind just think if your other posts are at least of an equally *hot* nature within the dog training niche your blog will start to show on numerous search page results, especially if you frontload (placed first)the title with the subject keywords most searched for on Google for the post topic!

Secondly, using this free tool ==>> http://www.commenthut.com/, to get you good quality targeted backlinks to you blog by posting commentds on other niche blogs directly related to your niche, it a free software tool, that will be fully explained in video and text at the site just check it out!

Thirdly, I would sign up to technorati, this is a blog directory site, where other blog posts are submitted to and will be neteworked to your blog for the same niche content, this makes your blog appear even more popular for your niche to the search engines, sign up here...

    ==>> Technorati
Heres an how to and what is Technorati guide?

Set up other blogs as feeder sites and point to your name blog .

Exact match makes a lot of difference in ranking . Backlinks are important but contrary to what a poster said above me ... page rank and age has very little weight to be pulled there . Relevancy is somewhat important but not a necessity either .

Get incoming , non reciprocal links going to your blog along with social bookmarks and you will start ranking for some lower comp keywords . The harder keywords may take some time to rank for if you do at all.

Now when you say get incoming "non reciprocal" links what is non reciprocal mean? Also, with social bookmarking I use onlywire. I know it submits to at least 36 sites at once... Do you think that is doing to many too fast?

I do 1200 bookmarks at one time . I also do around 8,000 backlinks to my sites a day besides bookmarks . . There is no such thing as too many too fast

I have several sites sitting on google one for over 2500 searches a day keywords .

I build sites , mostly word press blogs , and get traffic to them and then sell the sites . I build and sell over 20 sites every month . If there was a possibility of too much too soon.... I would have already been busted .

Backlinks via comments on other niche blogs the same as your niche as long as they hold reasonably good PR rank on Google do raise the stakes for good targeted indexing for your blog, but as you say it is not the be all and end all of good traffic generation, it is still part and parcel of the best way to rank well on the search engines, that is the intent of my last call!

its all about relevance in every form for an indemand topic, get that right and skys the limit on Google, and my pointers are a start!

PR is a Google thing only . They only update PR every 90 to 120 days . If it was really important to them .. don't you think they would update it a little sooner ?

Now I won't say that PR doesn't mean anything at all. If it didn't Google would do away with it . I am just saying while many are busting their buts to get 10 pr 5 links a day .. I will pass them up getting 7 or 8 thousand kinks links from pr 0 to pr 7 sites .

Relevance ... if I pay for a link or place a link myself on a related site is it as valuable as an unrelated site link that was not solicited ?

    Hi,

Use Google Keyword Tools to enlist relevant keywords into your meta tags. I will be uploading soon a video tutorial on this on my blog. Overall, you need to pay attention to following rules:

    1. Your title tag should start with letters who are ranked high in ASCII, for example give an additional space character in the start of title tag, you may want to start your title with the word, "0ur" and instead O, use the numeric 0 (Zero), which is again ranked high in ASCII and helps you rank high in search engines
    2. Back to Back Links to your website on various blogs, forums helps you attain high ranking in search engines
    3. Meta Tags, don't use more than 70 keywords. Use Google Keywords Tool to select the most highly searched keywords in your relevant niche
    4. Meta Description tag, ensure there are no repetitive words in it
    5. Use robots.txt file and upload it in your root directory
    6. Post articles on various article sumbission websites and do not insert a hyperlink to your site more than two times in your article.

Hope the tips will help you attaining high rank in Search Engines.

    Thanks & Regards,
