For people who are struggling- A way to make good and consistent cash revealed.

Hey fellow warriors,
I noticed a lot of people need start up funds or some sort of online income quickly. So I have decided to share what I did to acquire money in the beginning.

Become a ChaCha Guide | Work for ChaCha

I recommend you become a guide for the site ChaCha. Your job would be to answer questions that people send in to you through their cellphone. You would receive the question on your computer and It would be your job to answer that question. You usually get paid 10-20 cents per question answered. Keep in mind it takes 15 seconds-1 minute to answer a question usually. 95% of the time you just google it and your done. This is also highly flexable and you work when you want.

All the information and questions are found on the site:
Work for Cha Cha | Become a ChaCha Guide | ChaCha

For the skeptical and other people who quickly PM'd me about this: I have no affiliation to such a big company and no those are not affiliate links. I am not trying to make money. Just trying to help some people out. A thank you is enough!

ChaCha is also a great resource to ask any question. All you do is send a text to 242-242 with your question, and you'll receive an answer usually within seconds. I just asked ChaCha this question, and was told on average it takes 1-2 minutes to receive an answer. Try it -- it's fun!

No problem. The money really adds up! Doing this while working on some article marketing is a very simple yet effective way to generate income. While you wait for a question to come to you, you can write articles. It's a double kill.

Yes I have sent a question to them a few times and it's really fast and useful.
Answering a question takes literally 15 seconds a lot of the time since I remember a majority of questions were about what the weather would be like in a given area and sport scores. They also have contests during big events and give out bonus cash.

No problem. You just need to implement this and it's little job you can go back to for life. Also I did offline marketing to some people who were out of work in this tough economy and now I get a % of their earnings. So far i've made over $100 on autopilot and I have not touched this site for years. Here's is what I accumulated this month. Everyone loves a home based job so it's pretty easy to get people into it.

Nice idea for people to get seed money. One of the biggest hurdles to people getting started is they don't have money for domain names, tools, PPC, whatever. Now you don't have an excuse.

Yes I agree and in this rough economy it is very easy to get people to sign up under you and you get a % of all the money they earn as well. People are going crazy for jobs these days. Also for you people in college, think about how many kids would love an easy at home job.

I love looking for inormation and helping people.

I was ready to sign up for fun, I would probably even do it for free, but ran into a small problem. It looks there are two states missing from their dropdown menu on page 3, and Wisconsin is one of them.

I didn't see anthing in the TOS about Wisconsin residents not being able to participate, but I may have missed it. I submitted a support ticket about 40 hours ago, and no response as of yet.

This sounds like a lot of fun, hopefully it's just a glitch in their site.

    All the best,

    Thanks Irnes,

Cha Cha is a great little money-making resource for people who are just starting out and are looking to make their first dollar online. I've been teaching people about starting Internet businesses for years now and have found that if they can just make a few dollars right out of the starting gate, their belief level sky-rockets and they'll be much more likely to stay in the online marketing game for the long term. I'm going to share your suggestion with my list this week.

    Best regards,
    Charles

Thanks for bringing this resource to our attention. Just curious how much you've been able to earn (ballpark figure)? Seems that at 2 - 20 cents per answer it would take a while to add up, or am I missing something?

Being a major trivia buff, I'm looking at it as a way to keep my faculties sharp and maybe help a few people.

It may take a while to build up any decent amount, but try to think back when you were new to making money online, and what it was like to wonder if it was really possible to make anything.

Sounds to me like this is a fun site for those who are trivia nuts, or like to help others. It could also be a great way for new people to earn something; to prove it is possible.

Those are my thoughts exactly. Heck, I might sign up and see what I could learn from doing it for a week.

Edit: looks like working for Cha-cha for research might be unnecessary. Looks like they list all kinds of queries on their web site.

Guides can earn a set amount per task completed. Expeditors earn $0.02 cents per completed task and Transcribers $0.03 per completed task. Generalists & Specialists earn between $0.10 and $0.20 per completed task, based on the Category of the question.
How can this be worth doing? I guess I'm missing something.

Sorry if this has already been said but this could be a huge help in figuring what the people want. With all those people messaging you and you finding answers for them it does two things:

    1) teaches slight research capabilities
    2) gives people an estimated clue about what is being looked for and what people want.

This can easily be scaled into an all out blog

There are various jobs you can do. The generalists earn 10-20 cents for answering questions. The other jobs pay less but require less work.

This is a decent idea but you will notice sport scores, directions and advice dominate the site. I personally didn't get any niche ideas but who knows it is possible.

Let' say we get paid 0.15 cents per question on average. If it's a busy day you will get a continuous flow of questions and it will be easy money. 10 questions x $0.15 = $1.50 easy but even if it's a slow day you can have it running in the background while you work on other things. A message will pop up that you have a question waiting for you. You can simply stop what your doing and answer the question then go back to work. It can really add up through the day.

No I don't mind if you give it to your subscribers but I would appreciate if I got mentioned as a source. Also I agree but about 40-50% of people here are from the united states the last time I checked the demographics so it will help out a big chunk of people.

You just need to do well on their little tests. All the people I have introduced it to have had no problem with getting in. To be fair this was a while ago and I am not sure if they have gotten more strict. I noticed some people took advantage of the system and started delivering bad answers to peoples questions such as "i don't know" or "lol" to answer a lot of questions rapidly.

Just a thought - how about instead of answering random questions for pennies, you hang out right here on the warrior forum. Make a blog where you create a post that answers EVERY question anyone posts here. If you don't know the answer, someone here will share some, and you can always research it yourself.

Hint: Just search the forum itself - there's no question asked here that's never been asked before. If it is, skip it and move on to the next one.

Do that for a while, and every time you see someone ask a question you've already done, instead of answering it again, link to your blog post. This will literally happen your second day of doing this.

Put several subscriber options on the blog. After a couple of months, when you're getting traffic, put some affiliate promos on there (no need to hide em, say they are commercial posts), review some products (honestly) and post raw affiliate links. Build a list, etc.

Then, once you're successful, make a course saying how you made this successful website. You don't even have to give me credit.

If you did this - not just in this niche, but in any - build a site that answers the ACTUAL question the niche is asking - you will be MUCH more well off than what you would have made answering trivial questions like these.

I see your point Colin and there are better ways to make money online but you must realize a lot of people are looking for start up money, quick bucks in their pockets or some other form of easy money for whatever reason. I can see if you combine this with some freelancing and article writing you could have a solid online income that may be laborious but it will work. I wouldn't call it pennies either consider some people have made this a full time job of theirs. I wouldn't make this anyone's IM plan but I would use it as a supplement.

I understand that some people just want a little jangle in the pocket. I'm not faulting that. But this is the kind of place where I think it's not just right, but my duty to tell people that the work/return ratio is much better elsewhere.

Getting money this way is essentially just taking on an extra job. Of course you can make more money doing more work for pay. But you're only getting a fraction of the money earned - that's how companies like Cha Cha exist.

The true fortunes you can make online will come from BUILDING vs doing. Selling your effort is what you do if you're an employee, not if you're the boss. We should all strive to be the boss, not the employee (even if we are the only "employee" in our company).

Honestly I just assumed by default that everyone here knew that building your own business was far more profitable. Everyone here comes off with a vibe that their end goal is to become a good internet entrepreneur but thank you Colin for making it clear to anyone who is reading this. ChaCha is not a good long term path to making money online. Like Colin pointed out you should be building your own business at some point.

I actually like your idea... Yea here it comes... BUT...

Doing that here would get you banned for self promotion. (Sorry to say, I'm speaking from experience) On the other hand, on other boards this could work well.

Really? You can't link to an informative post on your own blog if it's actually an answer to a question someone asked? I haven't been here for a while, but that seems off. I can see if I was linking to a product as an answer, but this isn't that. Quote the relevant bit of the post here in the thread, if need be, and then have the link be for more info.

But even if that is a ban-worthy offense here, it will certainly work other places. Especially when you widen your net and cultivate your questions and answers across several forums.

That must be nice, to get PAID to BE entertained. Now that's something I can get behind.

      I just asked it:

      Who is Allen Says?

And it gave me the answer:

      An imaginary greek God

Then, I asked who is Eric Louviere?

      And it answered:

Not Allen Says that's for sure.

Then, I asked Who is steven wags?

      and it said:

A New Jersey Forum posting smoke monster who sings.

      That thing rocks.

        Haha.
It's a useful little service to use.
