Is a search query with 14,000,000.....

Is having a website ranked #3 for a search query with 14,000,000 results all that valuable?

I mean I know it hold SOME value. But am I sitting on something really worthwhile here?

I ask because it's a site I have not paid attention to at all since registering the domain.

Somehow I'm #3. If I really put some effort in to IM with this site, what can I expect?

    What is the search volume for that keyword?

    Search Results make no difference if you only 10 searches a month for any given keyword. The money (or value) is not in the competition but in the search volume

      yeah nevermind...

      as soon as i posted this, i ran over to the Keyword Tool an readlized there's not much competition/volume.

    It's in the last few minutes of the day that I more leisurely browse through various threads on WF and will even follow sig links and just do the whole "watch, read and learn" routine. So I followed your web design link and that's where I stayed for a good 15-20 minutes (which is years in web-time ).

    If that's your work, it's so incredibly creative all I could think was "I hope that domain he's worried about is design related and not something in the 'get your ex back, train your dog, and lose weight all at the same time' niche".

    I went over a few threads you've posted and it sounds like web design is a business you are trying to grow and I sincerely hope it works out for you because that is some pretty amazing stuff you've done. Just thought it wouldn't be right to go without letting you know and I hope all of your energy is focused on making that work.
