Hi,

I want to go into the IM niche (because I've had
some growth & success with niches OUTSIDE of it).

What do you think is a better niche?

1) Teaching info product business

2) Teaching info product business to make money on Clickbank

What I do know is that I like creating & selling infoproducts
but haven't seen much people out their focusing on infoproducts...

they are more like adwords, adsense, blogs, etc...

is infoproducts TOO GENERAL? I need some advice
solidifying and finding a niche for helping people make
money with info products.

Appreciate your advice.

BJ

Go with number 2. Any time you can drill down into a niche and make your offer more targeted, the marketing gets a lot easier.

I second that motion. I think that it's always a good idea to find as specific a market as possible that will still support a product.

All that said. If you target the product at a tighter market, try to keep the larger market in mind when you're creating the product. That way, you can easily pull back the scope a little bit and repurpose your content to the larger market, or to another related tighter market.

For example, you can start with selling creating and selling info products on Clickbank. The "creating info products" chunks of content will work in many different markets, so make sure that those sections can stand on their own. Then when you've got that product out there you can create another similar product on creating and selling info products on ebay, or on paydotcom or through PayPal, etc...

That way you can have multiple products that re-use much of the same content, but are all highly targeted to their specific markets.

This is the better of the two, however vague they may be...

People who are looking to make money on the internet are willing to 'spend a little' to 'make a lot'
