    Here's what i recommend.

Spend $400-$600 on getting two to three professional landing pages for some products in your niche on CB. Let a pro landing page copy writer do it for you. I know it is generally much more expensive than that, but if you look around enough, you will find someone in a couple of days.

Spend the remaining 3K on getting unique articles. I reckon you will get 300 very high quality articles for that amount.

Watch as these articles send you nearly 10K visitors this month. (Articles are most effective when they are uploaded).

At 1% conversion you would make 100 sales, and at $50 commission per sale, you can make $5K this month. then reinvest the 5K to get 500 articles the next month. And you'll make 150 sales this month. Which means $7500 in your pocket.

Reinvest $7.5K to get 750 articles ==> Over 10K earning this month.

keep doping this. Will not take up more than a couple of hours each day to manage content. Soon you'll be making 5K a month or more.

but i would recommend getting your own product and sales letter that converts at 2% or higher if you really want to sky rocket your earnings. Affiliate markting can give you only that much. But with your products you can make a killing with this approach.

It kind of depends on what kind of markets you are going into as to what works (article marketing/SEO/word of mouth etc) and so you might just want to throw stuff out there and see what works, before you invest a lot of your $3400. Doing a little PPC with adwords will allow you to do some initial testing and tweak your site and that's what you might want to start with. After that just try everything, see what works (track everything and test) and invest your money into things that are working best for you.

By the way you've mentioned the 2 things you're going for are "very specific niches" and writing tons of articles for things which don't have much demand usually doesn't pay off that well. I would do some article marketing but doing it in excess might not work for a narrow market.

Spend slowly or it will ALL disappear.

NO method is easy or straight forward and ALL methods carry risk.

I wouldn't "invest" that much unless I could get a return on a certain method with say $500.

This business can be a money pit if you don't know what you're doing or you don't look at the long-term.

If I had that much money, I would shop around and buy an existing website in a niche I'm comfortable with (Maybe something to complement your offline store) which is generating a small profit and then ramp up my marketing to bring in money profits.

You could also consider buying an ecommerce store to take advantage of the coming holiday season. Although, taking our current economy into account, we will have to just wait and watch what people will be willing to spend in the coming months.

Marketing is marketing! It is basically the same whether you are marketing your bricks and mortar or an online business. It all breaks down to having a product or service, a way of getting the word out and traffic, i.e. customers. Just those 3 things are required to make money both online and off. I suggest you hook up with Russell Brunson. He is doing a marketing challenge right now that teaches you how to market your product/service effectively. I really like Russell's approach. Even his marketing webinars give you actionable information, not just a sales pitch. He is one of the best and he makes sure that he doesn't just give you a bunch of hype. Right now his Zero to $100 million Challenge is giving away a Corvette to the winner. It costs nothing to enter the challenge and he gives you step by step instructions. He directs you to resources that you will need, both free and paid and walks you through how to make use of each one of them. If you're interested in joining the challenge click on the Corvette in my sig or you can just Google him.

It depends on the market, the keywords your targeting. You could spend all of your 3,400 and never see one sale. do you know your customers? wants, beliefs, what drives them, top questions, concerns.

I would test both markets using your keywords. first landing page, pay someone. use 2 variations of the same landing page. Test the market and see what one converts better. Then use this landing page.

I also would buy articles, but again I like to test the niche first, or the buying power of the customer. I usually target all of the buying keywords first.

Here's the best advice you're going to get on this, so pay attention.

First, since this is not your area of expertise, you want to work with an expert to shortcut the process and leverage your time and resources as much as possible.

Which do you think will achieve this best? Buying an ebook or course? Or joining a coach club.

Obviously the best is personal training and since you can afford it, you should go with that.

Now, not all coaching programs are created equal. Some are just "here's a bunch of info, good luck..." coaching prorams. Actually most are. So stay away from those. What you want is something where they sit down with your personally and create resources with you... so they help you set up and optimize your website... they help you pick out the right niches to enter... etc., etc.

The best coaching programs are workshops where you fly out to a physical locatoin with a laptop and the expert sits down with you and a few others, give you the "overall plan" info, and then works specifically with you step by step to implement that plan.

That's your best bet for success. I'd pitch you on joining one of my coaching programs but I believe that's against the rules, and not only that, the next two are currently full as it is!

      Good luck though!

    Hi,

Nice post. Have you looked at some of the online personal training programs that are out there? That strategy can extend your PT reach to customers way beyond your geographical location. Which would mean more bucks for you.

    All the best!
