How good in this program?

I looked at a program that was offered recently and couldn't help but click the link at the bottom of the sales page that said "Affiliates".
I saw something that seems to be pervasive in the Internet Marketing niche.
After I clicked on that among just as much hype as the main sales page what I saw was:
Does the customer have to spend $288 per month to get real value?
If so are all the people paying only $77 getting screwed?
or is it the other way around and the guy who spends $77 gets the best deal?
Or do I conclude that the people promoting the system likely are just snake oil salesmen trying to get as much as they can from the rubes?
Or is that just something taken from a page in Jeff Johnson's "Product Launch Formula"
