Batch Video Creation for Affiliates?

I've looked at various editors, but can't find the following:

1. I need to create videos for affiliates with text that changes for each one (their site).

2. A picture of them in the spot I select.

Anyone know of software that will help me batch this?

Doing this by hand for each one would take too much time... (and even having my team do it... I prefer the batch method.)

Maybe After Effects?

Thanks.

    Troy,

Sony Vegas might be able to this via a custom script but I'm not sure. For more info visit ---> here.

Why not supply each affiliate with the basic video and let them add their picture and text info with free tools such as imovie/windows movie maker?

IMO a lot easier and a lot less hassle for you.

      Kevin,

Thanks, that URL is a great start.

Hmm. Well, the issue is you are still going to need to render out every video.

The photos will need to be all received in the same pixel size and format if you want to retain some consistency. Then you can do a simple exchange on the timeline over and over again - as well as just retyping what ever the worded area is. And each needs to be rendered out.

I only know of batch capture (IE FCP) but if you do find a batch export solution I'd love to hear about it.

I am looking for this too. Any development on this? I would be happy with a windows or Linux solution.

P.S. The Sony Vegas link isn't working above either.

Have you tried paying someone to script a program like this for you from Elance or rentacoder

You can use the program yourself, and also sell it as a WSO or something... It's obvious a lot of people can benefit from this..

I could probably script something together if necessary. Maybe I'll give it a shot if there isn't anymore feedback. Thanks for the idea.

After Effects because you will have a project template saved and only need to change 1 image and 1 text area in a scene than render. But if you don't have a powerful computer with 4G to 6G of Ram it will take hours to render each video.
