xsitepro..subdomain publishing

hi
I use hostgator and I created subdomain ...how do i set up publishing I am getting werror no such directory

    I still use xsp1 but I doubt it's much different to publish

    the directory you publish to is public_html/yoursubdomain

    "yoursubdomain" must be the exact name you gave the subdomain

          sorry - I was gone working on a site

          I'm talking about the last box on the publish tab "FTP directory"

          I don't put anything in "Home Directory"

          In FTP Directory I enter /public_html/subdomain

          I don't think I use a "/" after subdomain name but can't remember as I don't use them often any more.

          You might also check the manual xsp - might be in there but the above works for me in xsp1.

    Once you create the sub domain, you will need to go to your control panel and then...

    Files >> FTP Accounts

    ...and create a FTP login for that particular sub domain name and then enter that login info as normal.
