Am I On Right Track?

Its been over a month I have joined WF and I have certainly learned many things from it. Since the day 1, I started working on building up my own empire. I have jot down my objectives into couple of stages which are provided below. Please do give your comments and correct me If I'm on the wrong path.

Stage 1:
Select A Niche and do a thorough search on it. Select targeted key-words and do the keyword analysis. (Completed)

Stage 2:
Buy a domain; make a landing page and offer a guide related to your niche. Perhaps, this would directly aim on building up the targeted list. (In Process)

Stage 3:
Do some heavy article marketing and promote the website as much I can do through any mean.

Stage 4:
Once I get to see the list building, start writing sales page and hitting them once in a week.

Stage 5:
Just as the selected niche seems to be rolling, hire up a worker to take care of the niche and Move on to the next one under the same empire.

These are my current 5 stages and I have yet accomplished myself to stage 2. My target of reaching the stage 5 is within 6months.

Please let me know, if you want to suggest something else as well.
