Ezinearticles.com Super Slap!

Hey All,

So I've been writing articles and posting them on EZA for a while now. When I pick the right keywords I get some decent clicks on my links.

Recently I uploaded an article and got top listing for a good long tail keyword. It was in the top spot for about 2 days.

Today I check to see how the article was performing and it's gone. I mean completely. I searched for the entire title in quotes and it is no where to be found. I got Super Slapped.
That has never happened to me before with EZ. Does anyone have any idea what may have happened?

Thanks,

Stiz

I'm not sure how anything that happens to 1 article could be considered a "super slap"

I still have hundreds of articles on ezinearticles that are getting tons of traffic and ranking just fine.

Forget about it, keep writing more articles

I had one come back from EZA once. They told me that it had too many keywords?

Here is what I find amazing, and I'm going to say this as nicely as I can
and with a big smile on my face...how many people totally micro manage
their business. They write one article and then spend an eternity looking to
see where it is every second of the day and then going into a panic when it
      disappears.

Just keep writing. Just keep working your business. The time you waste
micro managing things could have been spent writing another article.

The last time I looked to see where ANY of my articles are in the SEs was
      about 2 years ago.

      Stop worrying and start working.

        Words of wisdom there....

I would like to add one more thing....if you are submitting to multiple directories, EZA Articles often lose their ranking and the backlink to your site. Don't ask me why....or how it happens it just does (sometimes). So make sure what you submit to EZ is unique in comparison to other directories

I don't 'know' this Steven Wagenheim guy from Adam but I've followed him around the forum here a bit and he sure does make some great posts!

Well I have to disagree with you on this sort of.

        Sort of key word.

You're right about the micro managing. BUT - many people new to what they're doing (ie: article marketing) should NOT be repeating mistakes. They want to do it right the first time, have proven success, and then know what to repeat.

If I'm churning out 100 articles the WRONG way - I'm wasting my time

Problem is, there is no such thing as "proven success". Would you agree
that I've been writing articles long enough to know how to write them?
Well, believe it or not, I write articles that are flat out klunkers, for
whatever reason. They don't bring in the views or the clicks. But I don't
worry about it. I just get back on the horse and write another one. When
you write multiple articles a day, you can't be worrying about where each
and every one ends up. You'll drive yourself nuts.

Of course you have to know what you're doing. But learn that first. There
is no system of article writing that is going to guarantee high SE placement.
So learn how to write and let the SEs take care of themselves.

That's the way I look at it, though many people don't agree with me.

And that's fine. But that's why I get more writing done than most.

          I just write.

Don't forget to "spin" it and create 2,347 new articles from it.

I think the forums would be filled with a lot more than just one or two people talking about their articles dropping out of Google to consider it a "super slap".

I would just call it the Google dance...

you're gonna find articles fluctuate up and down all the time, and as Steve has said why bother worrying about your articles in Google when you have no control over them anyways as far as ranking is concerned?

I would just keep doing what you're doing and start pumping articles out.
