Question for People experienced in flipping websites

I built a site that's got a keyword that gets 2k searches a month and has 3 million competition at the first spot on google. It's a simple Wordpress blog that tells a story about a certain health condition and has some affiliate links spread throughout it. The keyword is a buying keyword.

Is this something that could be sold easily and what kind of price do you think is reasonable to ask for?

PS: It's a .org site

    Contact the people who are targeting your keywords with Adwords ads and ask them if they'd like to make an offer.

    It would be a lot better if you actually made a sale or two from it before trying to sell it. To get a good idea of the no profit yet startup sites that do sell on Flippa just click on the Just Sold tab on flippa.com. I just sold one for $1000 that hasn't made any money yet, but it has a lot of great content and an aged domain, pagerank 2 and about 8000 Twitter followers, so those things are what sold it.

    Hard to judge without seeing your site but flippa should give you an idea of pricing and what is selling.

    Yeah I would wait for some traffic and sales first - even sites that are making $100 a month sell for over $1000 or more on Flippa.

    I've been seeing a lot of organic sites that were recently made going up on Flippa lately.

    Are the 2000 searches exact match?

    I figure if it gets 300 exact per month, 40% CTR, and 2% conversion that's still 2.5 sales a month. The products that sell for this niche are about $25 commission, so I could estimate the site has the potential to make $60/month at the top spot. Is that a fair assessment?

      Well, how new is the site? If you have had it a month, is it converting as you "assume".

      Are you getting 40% CTR now or is that just a number you heard from somewhere? That CTR is not a guarantee.

      If it is really new, then I would want to see if the top spot in google stands. Most new sites appear at the top of google when they start but then drop off.

    I was flipping brand new websites on Flippa for around $97, no traffic, nothing. There's always someone willing to buy, you just need to have good sales copy.

    Now I flip domains, it's much easier and less work, and the profits are much better.
