I think i am starting to get it

Well it has been a little over a year since i have started my Internet Marketing journey and i think i am starting to finally get it. I just started building my list recently and hopefully things will improve with my ClickBank account.

Wanted to say thanks to all the warriors that have helped me (i will need more help in the future)

Here is a little advice to those who are lost.

1. Stick to one thing and do it well.

2. Build your list

3. Give your customers quality content first, it's about what they need or want not what you need.

4. I have been working at this thing for over a year and there is no such thing as overnight riches!

5. Be consistent and the only time you fail is when you quit.

Too true. There is no magic bullet. Success takes perseverence, hard work, and a little imagination.

Great post and I couldn't agree more. It is so crucial that you do stick to what you do best as I see people that try to do everything and failing to capitalize on their strengths as a result. Also, sticking to the fundamentals mixed with consistency and persistance is the real key.

Best of luck... even though success has very little to do with luck!

Great Post, I think the key step that everyone misses is:

    1. Stick to one thing and do it well.

There's just some many things out there in the internet marketing world, you just need to focus on one and master it.

Right on the money Shannon. Stick to something long enough to see success. You can always add new tools along the way, but stick to a strategy. Actually have a strategy of where you want to do and a plan to get there and you will have to succeed.

Just one project at a time. Like you say, stick to one thing only as there are too many attractive ideas out there, which can slow down the process of success. All the best and good to hear you are getting results.

If everyone did this, rather than looking for the 'magic bullet' solution, many more people would be making a good consistent income online. That's the key word: 'consistent'. As I'm sure you've found Shannon, it's relatively straightforward to make money here and there if your attention isn't focused on one thing. But that money isn't the consistent income we all require, whether it's thousands or millions.

Congratulations on a very good post and for staying in the business, putting in persistent, consistent effort. Keep up the good work and let us know how you get on.

Great stuff Shannon - #3 is especially important. The better we get at understanding what our customers really want and give it to them...the faster our businesses will grow.

Shannon, congratulations on the success you have achieved thus far.

I want to say a few things, although almost everyone seems to reiterate two of your recommendations I think it is important to reiterate ALL of them, but most importantly #4. There are WAY too many schemes that promise X amount of money in one week and a lot of newbies fall for those promises. YET, I think it is important to remember that no one becomes a millionaire overnight. Ask Bill Gates or even Donald Trump... They will most certainly say it took years for them to accumulate the millions they have. So, this then only goes to prove another one of the points you make, CONSISTENCY and PERSISTENCE are imperative. And also a lot of PATIENCE.
