Amazon reports - what does this mean?

Well, it's looks like yesterday I made my first Amazon sale from one of my websites since I've really been trying. (I had one sale months ago from a blog that I wasn't even paying attention to.)

But what I don't understand is this: The report says that yesterday there were no clicks and no clicks from product links, yet there is one order from a third party.

How can this be? How can there be an order (from anybody), that is shown on my associates report, but no clicks? How could the third party have placed a sale without clicking on something?

If someone clicks on your Amazon Affiliate link, the cookie lasts for 24 hours.

Perhaps they clicked your Amazon link the previous day which put the cookie on their computer and then came back yesterday and ordered. In which case Amazon will credit you for the sale.

I haven't done RSS feeds yet.

And the zero clicks are showing for the same time period as the one order from the 3rd party.

Does anyone else have an idea?
