Default Newbies' guide. A potential WSO?

I've just written a post in another thread about newbies' problems. That made me think about writing my own step by step guide for newbies.

Step by step, illustrated guides are my stock in trade, so to speak.

If I wrote one, do you think I could offer it as a WSO. I tend to forget that newbies buy WSOs too and think they are aimed at experienced Warriors!

Thoughts gratefully received.

Thanks in advance

Some people are interested in the solution, while others also check the source of that solution.
I believe that the second category is way much smaller than the first.

How many times did you ask a complete stranger for directions to a place (like a postal office)? How many times did you trust that answer, without any proof? I do a lot, and 99% of the time I get to the destination.

Do you have ideas for an eBook that can help someone? That's great! What are your risking? $20? That's not too much for such an experiment. If you believe that your eBook is useful, my only question is:
"What are you waiting for?" Publish it now! Made an WSO, show the world your enthusiasm and receive the success the eBook deserves.

You were a newbie. If you can get back in time, would you buy this eBook?
Some people are so skeptical, so they say "If I go back in time, then this eBook would be a blank page"

I think it would be a great WSO.

I consider someone not making any money, or very little money, to be a "newbie".

Go by statistics, and that's probably 95% or higher of those dabbling in their own business...so it would most likely do very well.

Just do it - it's only $20.

Ok guys. Thanks for that. I'll give it a go. I'll offer a refund (obviously) and see what the reaction is. It won't be immediate - I haven't written it yet and next week is a busy week offline.

I'd say just do it as well... it does not matter if someone is already doing it or if someone has already done it... everyone's style of teaching is different... otherwise you won't see many adsense or adwords guides out there just to illustrate an example...

yup. do it man.

I got lots of business from WSOs -- actually one WSO, the only one I did -- and I don't see why you shouldn't . As long as you provide good content and make sure you're actually giving value to those people, you'll be fine.

Thanks,
Sebastian
