What's Better for EXIT Popup?

Hi,

I just ordered Virtual Sales Assistant
(Exit Popup).

But I am wondering what's better...using the
EXIT POPUP for:
1) SALES DISCOUNT offer (50% buy it now discount)

OR

2) Squeeze Page (build list)

The thing is I already have getresponse code
so the optin appears when the person goes
to my sales page...

i dont think it's smart to the optin appear two times
...plus i do get extra sales from the SECRET DISCOUNT

what do you think?
