    Hi Andy

What type of problems? I've been with them for a couple of months now - and so far no hiccups. Maybe some other warriors with way more experience can also comment.

There's a specific server that was down for an hour or two, but it's fixed now. I've heard awesome things about them, so I'm hoping this was an isolated occurrence, since we've only been with them briefly.

How long have you been with them, and have you had any issues?

      Thanks,
      Andy

Just to clarify... I wondered how long *others* have been with them, and if they've had any issues, not "eaglechick" (already mentioned they'd been with them for 2 months).

I've just checked it and I've not seen any problems with my domains hosted on Bluehost.

    William

PS: If you can't access a website for a few minutes, it's a normal server failure. Just drink a cup of coffee and have a second look

EDIT: As you are asking if I had any problems: No, never had bigger problems. Server down for a few minutes but that's pretty normal for a webhosting company.

Yeah, like I said, it was one specific server, I guess... but it was a couple hours, and since I'm new to Bluehost, I just wanted to make sure this doesn't happen a lot. I understand temporary glitches, I just won't accept multiple occurrences of 2 hour downtimes, you know?

From what I understand, though, BH is solid, so it's all good.

A few problems after a php upgrade but their support was spot on and helped me get everything working again. Their tech support is good enough for newbie and also know how to handle people that know their way around without being condescending... I like that.

I've been with them for about 2 years or so and like them well enough. Not a big fan of the throttling but it only seems to become a problem if I'm doing a lot of work on a site

Very rarely have I had any down time... like another poster said. If they're having a problem or a server is down; go for a cup of coffee and check it in 5 minutes and it's fat and happy again
