Changing website from Microsoft Frontpage to...

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi Warriors,

I am in the process of convincing my boss to consider updating & modernising our company website.

We are currently using microsoft frontpage and here's a link to the site:

Auckland Real Estate - Property and Homes for Sale, Rental Property - Property and Homes for Sale - Clear Realty - clearrealty.com - L J Hooker

Based on what you see on the website, how easy would it be to shift this website to a different platform and what would you suggest (Wordpress??)

I appreciate from those who are experienced in this area, and that could shed some light on this for me.

Simo,

I would find a nice theme and go with Wordpress. Depending on how comfortable you are with Wordpress, it shouldn't be that difficult to get this site up and running on the Wordpress platform.

why don't you just redirect the .com to the blog and add the additional pages in there?

If you're just going to copy and paste your info into a new wp install, id say up to 6 hours to get it all into wp site properly. You will have to do it manually.

@crystalq - Thats a really good idea and something I'll put to the powers that be. I'm thinking they'd may still want two separate sites, but there is no reason that would couln't do that... Thank you
