7 out of 10 sites are mine on Google's page 1

Good times and fuzzy bunnies

Currently, I've got 7 pages out of 10 pages on the first page of Google for my keyword. 3 of them are title posts for my blog and the other 4 are articles posted on EA and goarticles.

I'm averaging 4 out of 10 because Google changes stuff so damn much. Anyway, just wanted to give a thank you to all for the info here on the board.

Jolly good stuff. Jolly good indeed.

I'll track the results and affiliate sales and let you know how it's going.

Peace,

Shane

P.S. By the way, I only have like 90 articles on EA and only 10 of them are in this niche. Guess I'll get back to writing. Later days!

Congrats! Its cool when you make that happen, huh?

Don't stop with articles, though. My buddy Howie Schwartz; (well, we only met twice and drank and ate together but we hit it off really well both times); always talks about Conversation Domination.

Use Hub Pages; mini-sites, micro-blogs, Social Network sites, all your profiles.. basically bombard the SEs with various; (not all the same); content from various sources and deftly; (not blatantly); inter-link all of them together and those positions in the SERPs will be more sticky regardless of G's dances.

    Good work!

Congrats. I was about to ask a question like that -- if anyone got more than a couple internet properties of theirs show up in SERPs for a top keyword. I guess the answer is YES - 7 out of 10 is possible

One thing to keep in mind, and I'm not saying this is what's happening in your case although it is a textbook example, is that Google will give you personalized results that skew the serps in your favor.

You can tell the difference by having someone else do a search, use search tools, or go through a proxie for your search.

The reason you want to check (if you haven't) is so you don't become confused about your true rankings (duh! )

If you really have captured the front page, way to go.

Thanks for the tip. Truth is I'm already aware of that and it doesn't really bother me. In fact, I use that method sometimes to find my niche as well. There's a lot of competition in just about ANY niche. Just look at all the make money from affiliate products you can buy on Clickbank for like $67, it's laughable.

And basically they are all the same.

I've only been working this niche for like 3 weeks. Once I started using my own blog my rankings jumped way up.

      Thanks again,

      Shane

    Hey,

    Great job Shane.

I guess the real question is... is it a money keyword you're getting rankings on?

If you do some bookmarking and backlinking to your article pages you can start ranking for tougher keywords by using alternate anchor text.

    All the best,

Good job indeed. It is really a difficult task for most people to get 7 pages out of 10 pages on the first page of Google, at least for me, it is next to impossible even if I have spent much time on it.
