Does anyone know how to change that little icon right next to the address box or where to find info on how to change it? I am trying to change it on a wordpress site.

It's a file called favicon.ico. Change that in the graphics program of your choice.

I'm not sure if a simple gif or jpg works for that though... you may need to actually compile an .ico file

    again... not sure

You probably don't even need a special program to make this. I've always used photoshop for mine (others probably work as well). Just make a 16x16 image, file>save as>windows icon. Name as favicon.ico, put it in your root, and you're done!
