Default Seven thing newbies have with LISTBUILDING?

Hey guys,

I'm looking for some feedback from our junior members mostly but if the vets
wants to leave their views, by all means please do.

I would like to find out what are our junior members having problems with
when it comes to building a list?

It could be anything absolutely anything like starting a list or autoresponder setup? How to market on the internet with email?

I want to know anything that is giving you guys a hardtime just post it here.

Hey David, I find that most new IMers aren't interested in e-mail marketing. They have to make a penny a day for 2 or 3 years until they realize it's important to build a list.

My biggest obstacle seems to be conversion. I can have a good amount of traffic (not as good as it could be) and have no one or only a few signing up. I think that the lack of signups has to do with my approach - it isnt just enough to give them a "sign up here" prompt - no one gives something for nothing it seems

Jason you are right bro....

I can attest to that, it took me 5 years to really understand
just how important list building is and what it means for your
long term business.

This is the thing most newbies don't get really, you know
if you loose your hosting and products that's no big deal
when you think about it you can always create new products
but if you loose your customer list, now that is like loosing
both arm and legs...lol

Here's the best advice i can give anyone forget giving your
heart and soul to building a list of freebies, you need to build
a list of customers.

Now there are many different ways to doing that and all
kind of scripts to help you setup your site so you gain maximum
gains, but the key is having a system setup so your customers
do the work for you...

It has always been about getting other people to do the work
for you.

Jason,

As one of those newbie IM wannabees I would like you to answer a question for me if you would. I see the free $773 IM secrets and software in your link and so I decide to see what you have to offer. So you want my name and email, which I understand and expected. I get to the pitch page and low and behold can not find any download, just a sales pitch and a buy now link. What was the free stuff all about, or am I just blind? If the free stuff was if I buy the product, when I didn't see the free stuff I was offered, I don't spend a lot of time reading long sales pitches so I missed that. If that is the case, then I appologise as I felt tricked and that is not going to weigh favorably on my spending money with someone that tricked me.

I am not trying to bash you here, this is something I feel I need to know to understand how to get folks to click my links to read my offeres. I really want to know the answer to this question. Thank you.
