I have been thinking lately of ways to accelerate my list building by attracting JV Partners that will promote my products...

Unfortunately if you have a small list, a simple ad swap might not work, so I had to think outside the box a bit. I was thinking of ways around this and I thought of a few, so if you are in this position, I am sharing these techniques so you can take action as well. None of these are earth-shattering discoveries, these are things I've seen done that I wanted to compile in one post for you, so here they go!

Trade time for subscribers.

In this technique you can find something internet marketers are doing every day (or often) and offer to do it for them. These things can include graphics creation, writing articles, creating squeeze pages, writing scripts, etc...

You just have to find something you are good at and then offer those services in exchange for an email promotion. This works best if you affiliate with small list owners that are also just getting started, funds are probably low still so they are willing to send an email promo to get your service.

If you want to get bonus subscribers from this one, you might want to over deliver in your task and then request for a referral.

Discount your products or give them away

This technique is not really about quantity, but quality. You can offer other marketers your product 100% free or at a discount for them to offer it as a bonus to their customers. It is crucial you make it clear that they should present the offer to paying customer so that you know the subscribers you get are people that have already spent money online.

This list would produce much better results than a list of freebie seekers would.

Grow your list with an ad swap

Ok... I know I said an ad swap might not work, but if you find the right person to swap with then your chances are way better. I believe that an ad swap will not work unless it is a win-win situation. If you approach people with lists ten times the size as yours and you tell them you will swap with them, this might not be ideal.

Try to find people with lists of similar size as yours; this is the hardest part of getting this technique right... How can you know how big someone's list is? How can you ask them without being intrusive?
Well, you can't really "know", you must trust them. And if you want to ask, you might say something like: "My list has ### subscribers, I am looking to swap ads with lists from ### to ###, if you are interested and your list falls in this criteria, please let me know."

Remember you always want to review the product being promoted, because you should always be thinking of your subscribers first, but if the product is good, the list is right and the list owner is interested... you are all set for a successful ad swap.

I hope you you've found this post useful... If you are in the internet marketing niche, I am interested in swaping ads with you, so PM me if you are interested.
