How to remove the post date in the new wordpress 3.0 theme?

I just set up a site/blog and for my main post I don't want the post date to appear. I'm pretty non-technical and don't want to monkey around too much with the editor - but surely there has to be a way to remove the post date. I prefer to keep it as a post rather than as a page.

I'm using wordpress 3.0 and the new theme twenty ten I think it's called.

Any advice on where/how to remove this?
