Stats about online marketing for offline businesses
Can anyone share with me a short bullet list or collection of statistics around online marketing? I'm putting together a presentation and would like to pepper it with quotable statistics like these (made-up) examples:
- 73% of all customers begin their search for products online; less than 10% of potential customers use the Yellow pages.
- $148 milllion: the estimated amount spent by local businesses for online marketing in 2009.
- 28%: The percent that local businesses are estimated to increase their online budgets in 2010, as estimated by Forrester Research.
(I'd like to get about ten of the most interesting ones.)
