I would like to build a list but if Im not in the Make money online niche what would I give away in exchange for their e-mail and name? If Im in another niche. I have made some money with clickbank I have also thought about website flipping witch is esier to do build a list or website flipping? As article marketing it works but not really a business model..

Most people typically give away a free report or ecourse to entice people to sign up for their email. It doesn't matter what niche you're in, this works for most of them.

You need to figure out your strengths and weaknesses first. What you can invest into a business and what you can't.

If you have more time than money you will not be able to outsource any work. More money than time means you will have to outsource most of it.

No money, a little time, but plenty of skills would lead you to providing a service at the highest pay within the time that you have available.

Building a list is the best thing you can do as far as your business. But it takes time if you don't have the money for PPC ads.

If you have the skill to build decent websites, you could make more money upfront while you work on your list.

But remember that trading your time for money is a job.

Too many people come here and leave their jobs that have a better pay just to work at an Internet job for less.

They're totally different business models, which will appeal to different people.

Which are you saying is "not really a business model"? Both of them? Site flipping and article marketing are both perfectly viable businesses from which huge numbers of people are making their livings.
I'm saying article marketing.. yes it works provided you so kw research, niche like to write ect..I can outsource my writing but is it going to make me sales? To me its hit or miss. Me personally writing is really not my thing.

Simply offer something attractive that you'd be out of your mind not to take advantage of!

Also in your headlines don't mention your product name, instead, mention something your product can do for them. You can give away pdf's, videos, software and even physical items and host contests. Whatever you can think of. Collecting email addresses isn't that tough, you just need to offer the right thing.

You can give free e-books and reports to your website visitors. I f you do not have your own, you can use the ones given to you which have give away rights.

As others have mentioned, you would still entice them to join your list with a free report, ebook, or video etc.., But I suggest you make the giveaway relevant to the niche you are targeting. For example, a report on how to improve someones golf swing will probably not be of interest to people wanting to learn how to play the guitar. Just make it something that is likely to be of interest to your target niche and you will have a much better chance of success.

hey it's always better to build a list because you can market to them until they unsubscribe you can also build a list in any niche you choose create a report or a 5-7 day email course get creative and if you can not do that just outsource the work with your ideals attached for a few dollars and you can be building a list in any niche in no time with article marketing or ppc marketing

The best thing to do is to build your list giving away a free report.

      Reports just work better.

It's best to create your own report and keep it around 20 pages or so.

Create the book so it gets right to the actionable information. This way they can take action on the steps right away and most likely wont unsubscribe because it was good info.

For some reason people seem to like the word special in front of report better.

So i always let people know it is a special report. It convert just that little bit better.

Creating books and software and even ecourses don't work as well

For one books take too long to write, software takes way to long to create and more than likely someone else has something similar unless you come up with something so unique that everyone is dying t get there hands on it.

I also don't recommend e-courses. People want information now and want to be able to read the info and take action on it quick.

Ecourses can take weeks to get or if it does come all at once it can overload them with 2 much info.

People want info now not later and they want to implement the techniques right away that's why free special reports work great, no matter what niche you are in.
